hello all Here is the problem... I bought a computer desk from walmart a long time ago, the desk is now starting to wobble back and forth when I type. this is not good because I have my monitors on it and other stuff. I am in need of a new computer desk but can not find a decent one that will break the bank. has to not wobble and be sturdy has to be long enough to support a full sized computer tower, 28" widescreen and 22" widescreen monitors. also has to support that weight of those parts above seen someone mention "anthro" desks, so I looked them up online (Anthro: Ergonomic Desks, Furniture, PACS Workstations, Lab Carts, Work Benches) and they have really nice desks with a great warranty. But the price is out of range for me. If you or someone you know has bought a nice desk that is sturdy, long and can support a lot of weight. please post where you got it from and how much I am looking at around $250(USD) + shipping thanks

My desks are great! only like $170 a piece and I got them at my local staples. Note that it is 2 L-shaped desks put together.

Im in the process of designing and soon building my undesk. Basically its a chair that is surrounded by my computer stuff. When I get it finished I will let yall see it. Right now Im prototying it. The keyword is comfort and accessabilty. I am frustrated with the off the shelf systems which dont fill my gaming needs. Comfort with power.

looks nice carbs. though I doubt i could safely use a glass desk without breaking it ![]() I decided to make my own desk to fit my needs. It will be three file cabinets with 2 home depot counter tops ontop of it. so basically I will have a file cabinet on both ends and one in the middle, I also plan on attaching a wood frame to the bottom of the countertop so it attaches to the file cabinets and does not slide around. hopefully it works out ok ![]() @Bubba looking forward to see the end result

I would check out your local Staples or Office Depot (if you have them). They often have cheap desks that work really well.

I actually found some nice metal table legs at home depot online. they are 28" tall and the countertop is 3" thick, so put that together and you have a 31" high desk. the legs are $12 each and the countertop is $25-$50, so it might be cheaper then buying a desk | |
