Banned

So I got banned with a few others earlier this week b/c some one took my stream ID and streamed porn over my normal stream. I was wondering if there was any way to expedite me getting unbanned like the others did (Cat/Dan/Kaiba) and what I can do to counter this. I have used pause at the beginning of my batch file, but if I put that on the 2nd screen and press enter it just puts it right back on the first screen.

Any way I'm really wanting to stream this weekend and I would never do any thing like this. The JTV staff doesn't know this, so I can't blame them for taking these steps to investigate etc, I was just wondering if there was any way to help the process and if any one knows a good way to hide your ID. Hey Tkon, your best bet is to put your command prompt on another monitor, and then run the batch file from there, this way it stays off screen all the time.

Link me the following info and I can unban ya:

Stream name
When you showed your FME stream ID
When your stream got compromised w/pr0n

Be exact on #2 and #3 as much as ya can.

Tkon is my stream name, I've always shown it.... just never on purpose. I never thought about it till yesterday when Rarecola said it started happening to others on JTV. It was around 3:30ish I was making a sub and came back and every body was flipping out in chat and apparently some one was streaming porn.

I have put way too much time into my stream etc to do something so silly and childish. At the same time I can't believe I was letting my self be this vulnerable after putting so much effort into it. Also when I put command prompt on the other monitor it still pops up way too fast. I put a pause on it and then moved it to my 2nd monitor then hit a key and it just puts it back on my first one -.-

Thanks a ton btw Tim, you've been crazy helpful ever since I even wanted to even start streaming. Including entertaining me before I started my self ><.

I'm not sure what you mean about popping up fast, I'm saying to put a command prompt on your other monitor and then running the bat file from that. It won't matter how fast/slow it runs since its on another monitor and nobody can see it.

When I put the command prompt on the 2nd monitor and type in start etc it runs the new one on the first monitor. Could you give me an example maybe?

When I showed my FME stream ID: between 10:30pm to 11:30pm cen time on July 1st
When my stream got compromised w/pron: about 12:00am till about 1:00am cen time on July 2nd

Hope you can help me out tim. Just like tkon said I put a lot of time and effort into my stream as well. Also I like the idea that you gave tkon and I will do that from now on to make sure other viewers can see my stream id.
