Anybody play heroes of newerth?

i played it for a bit but while i was still learning, your right, people expect you to know everything, and if you dont then they vote kick you. only help i got from another user was my mate who also played, sure there is a tutorial that you go through but there is nothing like good ole experience. and without that how the fawk can they expect you to know how to play. wont be playing it out of beta

Yup, exactly. One of my friends roommate had a beta code a couple of months ago (when it was in closed beta) and offered me one. I declined knowing i'll get yelled at for not knowing what i'm doing. Paul pretty much summed up what my thoughts are about the players of the game.

Because of this, it scares new players away from the game (like myself). And yes, you can fight through the rage and become a good player. But I like to play games because they are fun and getting vote kicked 75% of the time and getting yelled at is not fun.

Yeah i was in the BETA since it started off in closed. While HoN is a great game the community is NOT ever open to any change nor is it a friendly one.

I have a feeling HoN will struggle with finding new users once it's released. But it's done great in BETA theres already leagues and big e-Teams sponsoring players.

Now, I know they were trying to say their MMO is really, really good, but around here "Triple-A" is a notch below the big leagues/pros.

im addicted to this game at the moment ive played close to 200 games already since retail and each game lasts a good 40min+

I was kind of sad to see 2/3 of the community leave since HoN went retail.
