I had something similar when I upgraded from my Q6600, 8GB DDR2, old motherboard... to the new system i7 920, 12GB DDR3 and Asus P6T motherboard. I'd suggest looking for an updated driver for the video card first. In my case, and there was another user with an identical system (same parts, size, speed and manufacturer) who had the same issue. We solved it by moving to Nvidia based graphics cards from the ATI 4870X2 we were using. I found this, just by removing a component and replacing it, with older systems, and if there was no change replacing the newer component back into the system.

Well, not positive the video drivers are you issue. I was/am using IS Boxer, and the other user was/is using Keyclone. In both our cases the freeze was a slave window, sometimes you'd run fine for several hours, and other times freeze up almost immediately. In both of our cases, changing the video card removed the problem. That's why I suggested starting with the video drivers.

Try to run the WoW repair tool and make sure to check all the options to enabled. For those of us WoW vets we know that WoW can lock up - often. When you multibox, you're just increasing your chance to lock up. The biggest thing you can do is: a) Delete contents of your WoW cache folder b) Run minimal mods, and only low intensity ones (aka, not Questhelper, not Auctioneer) c) Keep your HD defragged Also, if WoW dies, it brings Pwnboxer down with it due to how Pwnboxer attempts to layer on top of WoW window locations. Not really a big, but not really a big deal. No matter what Pwnboxer has for super powers, it cannot re-program crash faults that are part of WoW.exe itself

I've been trying to scour the forums just in case anyone else was having this issue and I haven't come across a real fix for this. I run 3 accounts. Nearly every time I start pulling mobs in dungeons on account 1 account 2 and 3 freeze then crash. Just opening up 3 seperate accounts (not using pwnboxer) and having the 2 other chars on follow doesn't cause this, so the only thing I can think of is it's something with pwnboxer. Perhaps I have a setting wrong or something. This computer is only about a week old so there's no reason to defrag the HD, even deleted the contents of the WTF folder for good measure. Don't have tons of mods running. Anyone have any suggestions? Operating System:Windows 2.6.1.7600 CPU Type:AMD Athlon(tm) II X2 255 Processor CPU Speed (GHz):3.12 System Memory (GB):8 Video Card Model:NVIDIA GeForce GTX 465 Video Card Driver:nvd3dum.dll Desktop Resolution:1920x1080 Hard Disk Size (GB): 931.41 Hard Disk Free Space (GB): 857.09 I have account 1 using one gamepath. 2 and 3 are both using the same gamepath, but different from account 1. Since I only have a dual core I have account 1 using core 1 and account 2 and 3 using core 2. Reasoning is account 1 is my main screen. Last edited by jpc1981; 08-10-2010 at 05:18 PM.
