Default Video Settings

I've tried to save my video settings somehow on my main window and slave windows, but they always seem to reset to some default setting. I have low graphics on only my slaves but on my main window, default graphics is not checked. I even tried opening the launcher to set the "template" if thats possible, for all my wow clients, but that didn't seem to have an effect.

Right now in Pwnboxer the configuration might not be explained clearly. It is one of those things that, if enabled, it is enabled on ALL games (not just 1).

So basically, if you use the option in Pwnboxer, you will be using it on all your games.

So set the video to High or Med in your main game, then to Low on your others. That typically is the best effect.

Also to note, the new upcoming Pwnboxer 3.0 has a lot of optimizations in this specific area to take advantage of the new graphical options in Cataclysm.

Oh ok cool! I've not been refreshing my forum reading in a while, so I haven't heard of any 3.0 talk yet. Looking forward to it.

Yup basically Pwnboxer has that graphic option for a game simply put as Low/Med/High. Then behind the scenes, Pwnboxer actually tailors each WoW game before it starts to use low end, medium end, or high end graphics. This goes a long way to making multiple WoWs run really efficient.

Anyway, Cataclysm brought a bunch of new graphic options to WoW, such as water effects, and the Pwnboxer 3.0 has a ton of updates, and one of the updates is rebuilding the low/med/high graphic option to include all those new graphic settings in Cataclysm.
