Keyclone requires a license per computer. But you can network as many as you want. IS Boxer requires one subscription. Which lets you use up to five computers at once. Pretty sure Game Commander Pro and Hot Key Net support multiple machines. Beyond that, not really sure. If you don't need multiple PC's, Pwnboxer is a good option too. What is Synergy for?

Synergy is basically a program that lets you use a single keyboard and mouse on 2 or more computers. So that mixed with Keyclone would let me mirror my ketboard inputs on all 2-3 Laptops at once. But turns out i am open to any program that doesnt have a yearly subscription and can do the same. just trying to figure out what program i am going to use when i get back. I know keyclone would be great for one computer but until i can build my beast of a machine i am going to need to figure out a way to use 2-3 laptops. is there way to link Keyclones to multiple computers with just the keyclone software?

Keyclone has built in network support. As long as the computers are on the same network and can see each other, and each has its own license, you're good. HKN is a totally free software. If it supports multiple computers, that might be the way to go. Not sure on the GCP pricing, whether it is a fee or a subscription. Both IS Boxer ($36/year) and Pwboxer (not sure pricing) are subscription models. So probably KC, HKN or GCP are the options for multiple computers without a subscription pricing. Although five boxing warcraft is $900/year. IS Boxer is $36/year. Not much of an expense, comparatively; if a subscription program worked better for you than KC/Synergy, the pricing shouldn't really be the main concern.

I've used Synergy before, its pretty nice to link up multiple computers, however, if you try to play games with it you'll soon realize it isn't meant for gaming. It can drop keys, and it blows up if you try and use your mouse across multiple systems at once. These days computers are way outpacing games as far as performance goes. Take the new Intel i7 2600k. I recently saw a guy who loaded up 10 RIFT games at once on that single PC. Of course he did some tweaking, but those are pretty minor. That same 2600K could probably run 20+ WoWs without much of a sweat. So when you talking about people playing 5x WoWs, pretty much any semi-modern PC can handle 5x Cataclysm WoWs without breaking a sweat. The days of using multiple PCs to play multiple games is over imo.
