While nice, nothing says you HAVE to have your slaves fill up the 2nd screen, and if you want proper ratios to use with mouse broadcasting, you will have to leave some empty room (or buy a 2nd monitor that is the same size as one you have)

| So something like this ![]() Hmm.. will try that tomorrow while I'm trying to avoid work. The idea of dead space on the screen - i really don't think I can fit a browser in there - always bugged me but it might just be easier. Muffin: yes, getting matching monitors is actually a goal, although the fact that nobody sells 1680x1050 much any more makes it a little tough. Guess I could always get two new monitors, but that would likely cause aggro elsewhere

| Alternatively, run both monitors at the resolution of the smaller monitor. The larger won't be at its native resolution, so that might be a bit of a performance hit, but both will be the same size and four quarters on either adds up to the other. |

| Tried the new aspect-accurate layout this morning. Enabling mouse broadcasting continues to solidly lock up - won't even respond to Alt-F4 - all my games using broadcasting method #2 so I've decided to continue ignoring mouse broadcasting as method #1 just confuses me.

Method #1 is just this... setup a keybind to a mouse click on the Method #1 config area... Position your mouse on your screen where you want a click to happen in all windows. Hit the keybind you setup in the config This will transmit a click to all WoW windows at the current location of your mouse.

| You might look into a HotKeyNet script, specifically for mouse broadcasting. I know a lot of Keyclone users end up going this route, as HKN has accurate and easy to use mouse broadcasting, and HKN is completely free. It is an option anyway, depending on what you want to do with the mouse broadcasting compared to what you can do with your current software option. |

| Now that I understand how method #1 works, it is doing fine for everything I need - which is mostly responding to NPCs & closing trade windows

| Thanks for describing it Muffin! Yea, I use the Mouse Broadcasting #1 method. The #2 method actually works flawlessly on my PC, but I really don't like it, since it is situational when you do the mouse stuff. Since it is situational, the method #1 works absolutely perfect for doing mouse multiboxing. The #2 method is extremely experimental, and is very difficult overall simply because Windows itself has so many things built-in to disallow 2 mice to exist on 1 PC. After a lot of digging I learned it is due to some patent issues, Microsoft cannot allow 2 mice to exist at once in an operating system, at least as we would expect, without getting owned in the face by this educational software company which has the concept locked down. I do admit that I used the method #2 once to do an arena and, while I lost, my 5 guys were moving in such a fashion that they seemed like bots even to me |
