Since the past week or so when I've been using fast game switching it freezes my comp totally n I have to hold power button to turn it off, any idea why it's doing this, it's nt due to my pc not being able to handle cos I can easy run 10 wows with no lagg n ram/CPU/gnu load never over 40%

Check video card drivers and the heat generation/fans/cooling of your system. Those are the usual culprits for freezing systems.

Check to make sure you don't have Recount add-on as well.

I noticed in my 5 combo that I get spikes in my ram when I do fast game switching, check to make sure you aren't exceeding your limits. Although, I don't get the ram spike every time...I am assuming that the issue isn't with the PB app but with something else running in the background I may have missed and how they interact with the same resources, maybe. I also noticed that I run half a gig of ram on each copy of wow now, was only using 300Mb prior to the issues I had.

In the past, Recount caused HUGE problems like this where a WoW window would straight up freeze. Are either of you using Recount? Perhaps there is a new mod/addon doing it these days?

It might be a hardware conflict, if you've changed anything recently. On the other site, another user and myself had the exact same issue, with the same combination of processor, motherboard and video card. Basically, we both upgraded to: - i7 920, Processor. - Asus P6T, Motherboard. - ATI 4870X2, Video. And the game would randomly freeze. Usually one or two of the slave windows. In particular when taking a flight path. Changing the video card, resolved the issue for both myself and the other user. The video card worked fine before the upgrade. But with the switch, it did not like the new system. I've actually given the old Motherboard, Processor, Ram and Video card to a friend, and they all work fine together.
