SOLVED! Pwnboxer Error!

I bought Pwnboxer at 5:30 yesterday and when i followed the registration steps i got to the last part of puting in the number given to you via emal in the bax yet again and when i click register an error comes up saying and I quote "Cannot connect to the server. Check your internet connection and make sure it's working right. Press Retry to try again." My internet is fine and I have even disabled my firewall and still no luck even when i run as admin. im running Win Vista and i need help. I have tried contacting Tim and other senior members and moderators on this site and STILL no luck. Im feeling ignored and let down by the helpfulness of you guys, I also tried contactig you on Blackrock US searching BUT MOM IM MULTIBOXING in Who and no one that can help me is ever on. Please help me resolve this so i can start Pwnboxing!

You most likely have Windows Firewall or your Anti-virus firewall blocking Pwnboxer.

I'd guess the Anti-Virus, as the OP mentioned trying with the firewall off.

You could try it without Windows Defender; I had to disable that, to get Kasperky Internet Security installed. Quite odd, have never had to do that before for anything else, but it doesn't hurt to try.

Tim pretty much has the answer, for almost anything Pwnboxer related. I'm sure he'll be on in a bit, and get you hooked up.

Ok well Tim if you read this pls respond this is I think the 3rd day but im just checking in and i tried with windows defender turned off and windows firewall off and i have no AV system as i have had terrible problems with macaffe, defender pro and others so i have been good so far with regular settings. but still no luck. I have what i call "Barcode" characters in the guild BMIM on US Blackrock. the toons names are composed of I's and L's meant to look like a "Barcode". IF im on then whisper me

That message means that your PC/network/firewall/etc. is blocking access of Pwnboxer to the Internet. You need to disable anything that is blocking it, such as that windows popup message when running it asking if you wish to allow it access to the internet/etc.

I have tried EVERYTHING now that i can think of. all firewall and Win Defender was off all internet options let everything pass. running it as admin restarting the comp, plugging in directly to the modem and not the router. putting it into C: folder, you name it. Tim if you have a program like netbus to control my mouse and keyboard I will gladly give you my IP and whatnot to get in and do this for me. I have turned off every option I can think of, im disappointed and still want to Pwnbox

Can you browse to pwnboxer.com website on your PC right now?

If so, then it 100% without a question or doubt your PC's AV/firewall/windows is blocking it.

Try deleting it and re-downloading it into a new folder name and running it from there. Hopefully that will create a new entry into whatever it is you have blocking it.

Sorry for the long response time but i was busy with school and in a few i will be busy with a diner date at my house with my GF but i want to update you that the new folder idea hasnt worked. I have left my comp vulnerable to no ends. all firewalls are down my Win Defender is down and thats all i had for protection. i will drastically reformat my comp for this to work just let me know if it is the last resort

Do you have a router between your computer and your Internet connection? If so, the router might be configured to disable certain ports. Might be something worth checking, if you're not connected directly to the Internet of course.
