The issue was corrupt/missing dependencies on my windows install. I was suggested to reinstall .NET but when the installer failed and I could not reinstall it I just reformatted my machine. I can't tell you what exactly was missing because we never found out. I have a feeling that the reinstall of .NET would have worked. | |

The issue is that you are missing windows core libraries. I've checked with a few people on the issue and it was always the same. Some software replaced, or they never had to begin with, some core window functions. Note that it is definitely possible that something shady on your PC re-wrote, or that AV software trimmed overly excessive, a core find that is needed. Best bet is to repatch all of windows or reinstall. Chances are this issue could definitely be the same issue that might cause other things to not work / freeze / not work ideally on your PC.

Hmm recently I installed on both my new laptop, and years old PC the program TuneUP Utilities 2011, and that seemed to fix alot of my latency issues, I wonder if it'll find which libraries are missing and if you'd be able to reinstall those through that program. I know if you have the original disk for Windows be it XP, 7 x86, or 64, you can do a repair install where it'll just reinstall the core components of the OS without deleting anything you've done, or your settings. This may reinstall those Microsoft .NET Framework 4 libraries that were missing since windows 7 comes stocked with all the latest libraries for all the cool programs that we all run today including pwnboxer, curse, virtual girlfriend... wait... x that last one...

This can happen for 1 of 3 reasons: 1) You aren't running as a machine administrator 2) You have anti-virus that is blocking security escalation (Pwnboxer needs to be able to control other processes obviously )3) Your system is missing certain core window .DLL files that typically are installed with windows patches/updates (or certain trojan/viruses can actually delete/modify these) So try and re-run a ton of window updates, specifically including the .NET 3.1 install. Make sure your AV isn't blocking, and your user is an admin.

Hey guys check one other thing... I was having the same problem. check your action bars for the numbers in them (on all of your toons). you know the number that matches the keys. mine were missing on my addon toons) but i didnt realize it until i tried this out. go to your menu in game>then key bindings>then reset key binds. I hadn't done anything with my keys before this, but my numbers showed up in my action bars and all 3 of my screens were doing the same thing. I had to reset on all of my toons. Hope this helps someone.
