I happen to have a gaming mouse and I don't seem to find a way to use my extra buttons with pwnboxer, this is kinda handicapping me as I'm losing a lot of possible keys. Example: Using my 4th and 5th mouse button, as well as scrolling up and scrolling down as keys. Any help on this? Thanks

Which company is your gaming mouse with? Mine is Logitech, and with the SetPoint software running as administrator, I can have the extra mouse buttons send keystroke combinations to all my windows. And then have the key combos bound to whatever. With IS Boxer, I can use mouse buttons as triggers for keymaps. Initially I could do the same with KC, but at a later build I could not. But the button = keybind has always worked, if the software runs as an administrator.

Great suggestion! I am adding 3 new mouse options to Pwnboxer, both should be done in a day or so. The first option is to do mouse to key mapping. Eg, you press Mouse5, and all your WoW windows get SHIFT+F10 instead. The second option is just to flat out support extra mouse buttons in the method1/method2 of mouse broadcasting. The third option is for scrolling to work. Great ideas again, thanks!

Argh ... I stopped multiboxing since v1 didn't supported broadcasted mouseclicks waiting for v2 to come since Tim said v2 would have it .. now I fired up all my accounts again and I notice that I still can't broadcast my mousekeys ... ![]() Yuk .. guess I have to wait some more.

Yeah, but that dont help me much. :/ Im using mouse 4-6 together with Shift/Ctrl/Alt for most of my most used binds. Playing without them have proven to be slow and annoying. A well, I'll just wait until a version where you can actually broadcast em. I refuse to use SetPoint since it is prolly the worst bloatware ever coded. Last edited by vlad; 11-26-2009 at 01:24 AM.

I expect this addition to be done in a day or so anyway.

HKN and IS Boxer currently support full mouse use. You can use the scroll wheel, any of the buttons, including side buttons etc, modifier keys in conjunction with buttons. So it is definitely doable with the software. I know quite a few people who use KC, also use an HKN script for the mouse broadcasting, given that HKN is a free boxing software.

Yeah. I don't see the problem tbh. If windows can detect the butons there shudn't be a prob. Most ppl with somewhat experience of wow make full use of all mouse buttons. It is basicly the only thing that annoys me with PwnBoxer, but then again it annoys me enuf to make me leave multiboxing until it is fixed. Last edited by vlad; 11-27-2009 at 04:39 AM.
