Hi guys, Mouse again. After the recent update, I am still unable to get Pwnboxer to take control of my second window, Tim knows how lame I am at sorting stuff out so allow me to give you a run down of all the actions I have ticked I's dotted T's crossed select stuff, snap to grid CHECK enable fast game switch CHECK remove windows border CHECK enable key broadcasting CHECK enable mouse broadcasting CHECK auto focus game window on mouse hover CHECK enable running game windows movement CHECK Num lock locking DISABLED configure game settings G:\(copy1)The Lord of the Rings Online\TurbineLauncher.exe" advanced options, attach to process. lotroclient.exe (this is the last process added to windows task manager, so i believe it to be the process needed) "G:\The Lord of the Rings Online\TurbineLauncher.exe" lotroclient.exe (this is the last process added to windows task manager, so i belive it to be the process needed) As before i can get pwnboxer to take control of the screen, the size changes but I have to manually position the 2 screens, I thought snap to grid did this, or am I wrong there ? I can not however, get the button presses to transfer over to the other screen, nor does the mouse broadcast on the other screen. It seems I am back where I started. anyone can dissect this and tell me I'm a noob, and point me in the right direction, I will be eternally grateful. thanks again Mouse

The game window should be blank if you are using the advanced area. So remove the launcher part, as you should run this manually, but maintain lotroclient.exe in Pwnboxer's advanced area. So remove that, then run the launcher, then once you have 2 lotroclient.exe's running hit the start all games button. Also make sure you are running Pwnboxer as an administrator (Run-As when you click it).

| Admin edit: It is really hard to understand the problem from your post. Please be specific and mention what the actual problem is VS describing working Pwnboxer features. Make sure you size your windows as you want them in Pwnboxer. Run-As admin. Put actual game name in the advanced Pwnboxer window. Make sure your game is configured to run in windowed mode before associating it in any way with Pwnboxer. Run the launcher, then once the games are running, click start all games Move the game windows around by moving the Pwnboxer colored boxes If you cannot move the game by moving the colored boxes in Pwnboxer, then you need to redo the steps above as you are missing something or the game itself is blocking common multiboxing. | Snap to grid works as intended on MODE 2, MODE 1 puts the 2 game screens together in the middle of the screen, over lapping one another. So i can only see one. The mouse/keyboard commands still will not transmit to the other screen. i think LOTRO is still blocking this. anyone who has got pwnboxer to work with LOTRO since the update can u post here and tell me how you did it please. | Okay I think I see the problem. You first have to configure LOTRO to start up in windowed mode and not be full screen. Can you start up LOTRO, configure this, then exit LOTRO. Also, could you post a screenshot? IT would help me verify if that is in fact what is happening. And thanks for helping to test this |

I cropped the pic to make it fit, but i can assure you the 2 screens over lapp one another in the centre of my screen. You can just about see the edges of my desktop and icons. I tried to resize it because people always moan about large file attachments in forums. Last edited by mouse; 02-20-2010 at 03:19 AM.

Tim Edit: No prob just email me if you need a refund. I know that LOTRO has some built-in protection against multiboxing programs which can be worked around. I was just made aware of this recently and am evaluating upgrading Pwnboxer to support window-focused requirement that LOTRO has. The only caveat is it seems to be a dying game so I'm not sure how valuable it would be, but other games might do this, so I might add it anyway. Closing thread since we figured out the problem (LOTRO requires each window to be "in focus" to windows to accept keystrokes). Last edited by Tim; 02-25-2010 at 04:24 AM. Reason: tim edit
