Hello, I am using PwnBoxer v02.02.021501 with a 5 game setup using dual monitors. I have my main window in monitor 2, and the 4 smaller windows each taking 25% of monitor 1. For some reason, every time I open PwnBoxer, the 4 windows in monitor 1 move very slowly to the right, a pixel or two at the time. The two games on the right lose those pixels in width as well. For example, the coords for the upper left window start off at -1920, 0 @ 960x540, and end up at -1918, 0 @ 960x540. The lower right window start off at -960, 540 @ 960x540, and end up at -958, 0 @ 958x540. Obviously, this isn't a major concern, but I was hoping there was a fix so that I wouldn't have to keep adjusting the coordinates. Thanks for your help! P.S. This is my first 5 man team, and I'm having a blast learning to multibox. Probably shouldn't have picked a mixed team to start with, but it's going pretty well.

Hmm, so are you saying that if you run Pwnboxer, close it, re-run it, and do tha several times, eventually the game windows won't even show up on your monitor at all?

It would take a lot of time, since it only moves a pixel or two at a time, but I suppose that is correct. I've always corrected them once I notice that things are out of whack. If there is anything you'd like me to provide, I'd be happy to do it.

Okay so just let me double-check, it moves 2 pixels once, and only once. So close PB, restart it, and its all the same, close PB again, restart, stays the same? I just tested and it definitely doesn't move pixels, and this is something I would have heard about over the past few million times Pwnboxer has been ran So something here is definitely specific to your system. Try rebooting, starting Pwnboxer, closing it, restarting it, do that a few times. Verify that things aren't changing EVERY time you restart.

Tim, This is definitely something that has been happening to me since day one, over multiple reboots, etc. Also, it does in fact change 1 pixel each and every time I reopen PwnBoxer. As I mentioned in my email, I grabbed some video showing it dropping 5 pixels in a row. I agree that it is probably specific to my situation. My gut tells me it has something to do with the fact that "monitor 1" is my secondary monitor, and it's using negative numbers for the Left coordinate.

I should add that the main window on monitor 2 does not move at all. Only the 4 on Monitor 1. Also, the monitor designations by PwnBoxer are opposite the designations on the PC. I.e. the main monitor on my computer that runs the desktop is labeled by Windows as "Monitor 1", but PwnBoxer has called it Monitor 2, and vice versa.

I realize this is an old thread, but this is the problem I have as well. I've got 4 monitors set up in a rectangle: 2-23" stacked, and 2-25" stacked. The only time PwnBoxer doesn't shrink the games down or sideways a pixel or 5 is if the upper left monitor is the Primary monitor. I have tried this with all four monitors as Primary, using AMD Vision Control Center 11.7. All four monitors are set at 1680x1050. Occasionally it will make one game 1683 wide, but I don't notice the pixels bleeding onto another monitor. I just received the replacement for my defective XFX Raedon 5850 (they sent a 6870-yea, lifetime warranty!), and I'm running one DVI monitor and one HDMI monitor on it, and on a Raedon 5450 (PCIex1, as I've only got 1 x16 slot) I'm running a DVI and a DVI in an active DisplayPort adapter. As my replacement card has MINI-DisplayPorts, I'm stuck with the pair of cards for 4 monitors until I get an Active adapter from Newegg (no one in town seems to carry Active adapters, just passive ones )This problem did occur with the 5850, and also with the 4850(?) that I paired with the 5450 while I waited for the warranty stuff to get straightened out. I am also using a switch on the bottom left monitor, as I got tired of fighting with Win7 Pro 64bit to get my old games to work, and hooked my old XP tower back up. The problem predates the switch. This is not a deal-breaker, but it is annoying. I want the taskbar to be on the bottom right monitor, not the upper left. Any ideas? Thanks

Hey there, could you maybe post a screenshot of what you are explaining? I'm trying to visualize it but just can't seem to do it

I am sorry, but pictures are "failing to upload" from my computer to the forum. I've tried .bmp (file size too big, then failed once I shrank it), .gif, .png and .jpg format so far... > . I hope this explanation helps. Okay, here's the contents of the four coordinates screens, as they appear related to my monitors. The 2 monitors on the left are 23" and the 2 on the right are 25". Keep in mind all four monitors are set at 1680x1050. Upper left monitor (#1/NOW Primary per Windows 7) Left:0, Min:0, Max 1648 Top:61, Min:0, Max 1018 Width:1683, Min:32, Max:1680 Height:986, Min:32, Max:989 Notes: I gave up and plunked my taskbar on the upper edge of this monitor, and had the top of this game at 50 pixels so I could get to the taskbar on that monitor. My WoW's crash a lot. This is my work-around, as the coordinates seem stable if I make monitor #1 Primary on the desktop. It's wider than my screen-and when I looked carefully on starting the games, I DID see those few extra pixels from the left monitor games protruding onto the right monitors, until the right monitor games loaded and covered them up. Lower left monitor (#2) Left:0, Min:0, Max 1648 Top:1050, Min:1050, Max:2068 Width:1683, Min:32, Max:1680 Height:1053, Min:32, Max:1050 Notes: Extra wide again, and extra tall? I think they must be lost down at the bottom of the screen. Upper right monitor (#3) Left:1681, Min:1680, Max:3328 Top:2, Min:0, Max:1679 Width:1679, Min:32, Max:1679 Height:1048, Min:32, Max:1048 Lower right Monitor (#4) Left:1681, Min:1680, Max:3328 Top:1050, Min:1050, Max:2068 Width:1679, Min:32, Max:1679 Height:1050, Min:32, Max:1050 Note: This is the monitor where I would LIKE to have my taskbar, in the standard location at the bottom of the screen. I can manually reset them to take advantage of the full monitor size, but I have to do it every couple of days if any monitor but #1 is listed as primary. I do not believe that it continues to move once the initial shift occurs, but I could be wrong. The games just refuse to remain at the coordinates I set under those circumstances. Please tell me this helps you visualize my layout...
