Thanks for the suggestions, both of you. So far, it won't upload from imjur, but here's the url: http://i.imgur.com/WYQI8.gif This gif was my monitors' coordinates before my mini DisplayPort adapters came in; I had 2 on each card so I could have more than 2 monitors. Now all 4 are on the new card, and, annoyingly, the order on the monitors has changed (and I haven't had the energy to hunt down the way to put them back) http://i.imgur.com/j7jKG.jpg The upper monitors are now 2 and 4, left to right, and the lower are 3 and 1, left to right. Upper left is still the primary display. I've made all of them 1000 pixels tall because I would like to do mouse broadcasting one day... My newest information is that I saw what precipitated a change: WoW crashed on the lower right screen, and when I had PwnBoxer restart it, I spotted the bleedover onto the lower left screen. http://i.imgur.com/ba8Z3.jpg shows the new coordinate settings. 5 pixels bleeding over is rather noticeable... So what I don't know is if it's WoW is doing something weird on crashing (still shows set at 1680x1050 on the options) or if it's sending odd messages to PwnBoxer, or if PwnBoxer is doing some odd reversion to old (bad) settings. I opened and closed PwnBoxer several times before this crash, and restarted the computer a couple of times, and it kept the coordinates, so it's got to be at least partially related to the crashes. (Was hoping the new video card would straighten those crashes out). I'm headed to bed now. Once I get some sleep, I might be able to figure out how to upload/copy the crash reports, if you think they would help.

I think I see what you are saying here. However, I have added a new feature in Pwnboxer specifically for window sizing, to sort of automate this process. This might resolve the issue you are seeing, and also make it a LOT easier to arrange your game windows which is the main goal ![]() The new Pwnboxer is actually DONE! But now I am redoing the Pwnboxer.com website which will take me a few days. So just a handful of days more and then you can DL the new Pwnboxer (updates are free of course to all licensed users).

I'm quite looking forward to the new PwnBoxer I've been at work all through the Labor Day weekend, and being half-staffed really sucks, so I'm headed to bed early tonight. It's ironic to me that unemployment is 9.9%, and it takes 4-6 weeks to get people hired, even when you know people are leaving... Thanks, and good night

Nibs, 4-6 weeks to get hired, that is crazy. Just curious, what sort of field is this? Even with the economy crushing a bunch of years ago I rarely recalled those sort of wait times. Even background checks and all that only take a couple days...

Pharmacy Tech at a Wal-Mart supercenter... We had lost 3 techs for one reason or another the last 2 months, but since "we were getting a new manager, we should leave the mess for him to clean up." At least, that's paraphrasing the attitude of the manager leaving. Then the new guy came in and "oooh, now I have to obey policy" so 2 more left/are leaving (we'll actually only miss one of that pair). Leaving us with half support staff (3 full times and 3 part times). I'm severely annoyed at Wal-Mart's policy that they must look at internal transfers before looking at outside hires. Internal hires tend to think the pharmacy is easy, though they quickly get disabused of THAT notion. I do like my job most of the time; it's challenging to get people's insurances to work or get their doctors to look at alternatives, and most of the patients are deeply grateful for our $4 list (though *I* will be very grateful when another Neighborhood Market opens nearby, and maybe takes the load of the nearby ER 'scripts). My store rarely has time to get bored, even with full staffing... Last edited by nibs; 09-06-2011 at 07:47 AM.

Hey can I ask a personal question, I've always wondered, to pharmacy reps for big box companies get paid well? I would guess yes, because you'd think it takes more smarts/education. But then I'd say no because its Walmart/Target/etc. I've always wondered

Well, let's put it this way; if I were aggressive about using my Masters in Library and Info. Sci to be a librarian, I'd be making about as much as a teacher, and after 11 years as a pharmacy tech, I'm making about 3/4ths of that. My state requires a high school education, and that's pretty much it. We've run through a lot of dumb techs lately. I just think of it as "common sense, isn't." What gets me is that some of the techs don't realize that we are luxuries, there to help the pharmacist focus on their jobs. Fortunately, the last of the ones filled with self-importance is leaving at the end of the week. She should have been let go months ago, but she is the niece of the tech that left last week, who was friends with the former pharmacy manager. Wal-Mart hates to pay overtime, but I've got to work today, as well, and I'm at least 2 hours over, despite getting sent on an extra long lunch yesterday. You don't know how much I want to text her "thanks for the overtime," which would really make her mad, as she thinks her undependable self deserves to be scheduled so that she gets overtime (she didn't even bother to call in on Labor Day, just didn't show up, and yes, she knew she was scheduled). Our new manager hasn't yet figured out that closing techs shouldn't be scheduled over 37 hours (or maybe scheduling us until 9:15p, to give us a little time to straighten up the pharmacy before we leave) to keep from going over 40/week, but he seems savvy enough to learn ![]() Only one tech has been exceptional in the last 2 years, and he's left to go do pharmacology research with one of his professors. Happy for him, but he was much more useful than half the other techs...Sorry to ramble on; the last few weeks have been a bit overwhelming, and I resent being too exhausted to get to do much but sleep on my days off. After all, I'm paying for several WoW accounts, but come home, eat a little, take care of the pets, maybe look at WoW, and head to bed. Gotta get the collie and a calico to the vet for their appt now.
