Default Pwnboxer help request: live mouse broadcasting

Hello everyone,

about a week ago I purchased Pnwboxer, mainly because Keyclone doesn't support mouse broadcasting (at least not in any useful way).

Ironically, it is exactly this feature which causes problems on my system. At the beginning, I noticed that the mouse on my alt windows is behaving strange whenever I clicked outside of the UI, causing the camera to spin around like crazy, which made AoE spellcasting impossible (it works with the original Pwnboxer method tough, altough even there a mouseclick gets lost on a random window sometimes).

So I decided to use live broadcasting only for turning in quests, creating macros, repairs etc. But since two days ago, my computer started going crazy after I used mouse broadcasting for a short period of time, which looks something like this:

YouTube - Pwnboxer gone wild

Sometimes I manage to switch it off again, but most of the time my screens just go black/white and my system doesn't respond anymore, I even can't start the task manager anymore.

What I've tried on my system to solve the problem:

- system restart after every failure
- updated all my drivers
- disabled my second screen

What I've tried on Pwnboxer to solve the problem:

- disabled "Enable Running Game Windows Movement"
- disabled "Autofocus Game Windows on Mouse Hover"
- disabled "Enable Fast Game Switch"

My system:

Intel Core i5 750 (2660) Quad Core
Gigabyte GA-P55-UD3
2x2GB Corsair XMS3
Gigabyte GF9800GT, 1GB DDR3
Windows 7 (64bit)

Razer Lycosa keyboard
Razer Lachesis mouse

Any idea what is going wrong?

There are two methods of broadcasting the mouse with PB.
Method 1 and Method 2.

I don't use PB, so cannot remember which one was suggested and which generally didn't work too well.

I'd try to other method from whatever one you tried.

And if that doesn't work, consider running a HKN script for the mouse functionality; Khatovar on dual boxing put together a couple great posts on how to use HKN for the mouse stuff. I've copied the posts here: Mouse Broadcasting with HKN

Method 1 is the original Method which only passes single mouseclicks.

Method 2 is the live broadcasting Method.

Both aren't working like they should. Method 1 doesn't pass the mouseclicks to all windows reliably, Method 2 has the same issues sometimes + causes my system to stir up as seen in the video.

I don't mind to implement a HKN script, but what is the point since I purchased Pwnboxer specifically for the mouse broadcasting feature and it doesn't work?

From what I've seen, PB has a fairly good mouse broadcast system. You push a button to enable it, do your stuff, and then push a button to end it.

I'd probably say, there's a configuration option that is set wrong or a slightly different way of using it; looking at Tim's streams or some of the videos of people who were/are using PB at the time of their videos, the mouse broadcasting works fine for PB.

Not sure what you need to do, to get it working properly.

Still, the HKN script for using the mouse is a very decent approach. Aside from IS Boxer, it has stronger mouse broadcasting capabilities than any other software option, and HKN is free so you can easily add it to any software.

I use method #1 religiously and it always works flawlessly. What I am guessing is actually happening is it IS passing mouse clicks, however, your game isn't doing anything with the click.

Pwnboxer doesn't know you are casting Flamestrike, Blizzard, etc., it just passes the mouse click, so it is up to you to make sure the area on the window is the right area to be clicked. For example, all your guys should have exact/near exact camera angle setups, etc.

Watch my broadcast on justin.tv/multiboxing when I next go live and feel free to ask for a demonstration. It literally takes about 2 seconds to setup and works flawlessly

Thanks for your answers.

@Tim:

I actually use a macro to adjust the camera angle on all toons before I cast any AoE spell and Method 1 usually works fine in that case.

However, if I send a mouse click within the UI (for example to activate my secondary talent spec) it will only work partially or not at all.

I'll keep an eye on your live stream and hope to get it fixed somehow.

Cheers!

Slice, the click is then being sent, but whatever it is clicking on the other screens must not have a button.

So it sounds like its working right, you just have to make sure there is something there to actually click.

Do the method 1 and watch where the mouse hops to super fast, notice that there won't be something to click. It sounds just like it isn't lined up.

Open up the in-game calender on all guys and do the click broadcasting and you will see what I mean, its sending clicks correctly, but you have to have something in the game to actually click in that location.

Tim, I'm aware of what you're trying to say, I can actually even see the mouse appearing on the other windows, always at the exact same spot where it is supposed to go, but for some reason it doesn't always click on all windows, even if there is something that can be clicked.

I tried it with the in-game calendar just like you wrote, but the problem still persists unless I repeat the click 2-3 times...it's really wierd.

Aight so lets see... when you do it just once, do you actually see the mouse cursor move real quick to all windows? And if so, it moves real quick, but sometimes doesn't click at all?

Could you post real quick (non-wall of text form heh) what your CPU and GPU is?

Yes, I can see the mouse move real quick to all windows, but sometimes it doesn't click at all.

When I use AoE spells, it works more reliable in general, but as soon as I click a button/panel within the UI, it barely ever passes a click.
