Default Pwnboxer Feature Requests

Pwnboxer version as of this post: 2.02.0215.01

For "Dockable Clickmapping", have the ability to provide a custom title for each cluster/group instead of "Dockable Clickmapping #1".

Oh, the workaround for this would be to use the "In game panel toggle keystroke". This hides the Pwnboxer panel, but leaves the Dockable Clickmapping panels open.

Another suggestion:

In the Pwnboxer in-game panel, have a checkbox to hide/show all Dockable Clickmapping panels.

I put my panels on the left side of my screen, but if I ever need to look at my spellbook, skills, professions, character sheet, etc., they all pop up underneath the panels. Then I either have to move the panels (don't like to do since they are precision-placed on the screen) or click the 'minimize' button on each panel (close, but the panel title bar sometimes is in the way).

While we're adding to the feature requests:

I would like an option in key-mapping to send a key sequence to all other games, e.g. if I press ctrl+space in game 1, send space to every other game. Basically an all games except the active one option. Currently, to do the above, I need to create 20 key mappings, which just seems excessive. Yes, I could just send space through directly to all games but there are numerous times where that's not the right answer.

I'd also like to re-iterate the request for being able to set per-game modifiers in key mapping in addition to the current per-key choice.

Couldn't you just map like this?

Ctrl + Space -> Game 1 -> "Nothing"
Ctrl + Space -> Game 2 -> Space
Ctrl + Space -> Game 3 -> Space
Ctrl + Space -> Game 4 -> Space
Ctrl + Space -> Game 5 -> Space

I haven't messed around with the keyremapping at all so I am not 100%.

Yes. But I then have to do that for each of the other four games as well in case I swap leaders.

any chance on an isboxer like ability to turn on broadcasting with a "next click" function.

in isboxer if i make a keymap and use that feature it auto enables mouse broadcasting and disables after your mouse click. I do not like to have to use not only the aoe spell button but an additional two buttons to turn broadcasting of the mouse on and then off again. i do not use your mouse broadcasting becuase of this, and have been using isboxer a bit lately.

another nice feature in isboxer is the ability when i hit my hotkey for window swap, is boxer sends a keystroke of my choice. I use my ctrl 1 through 5 so that i get an immediate focus change to the character of the window i swap to.

For the mouse broadcasting, using method 1 in Pwnboxer, you'll find it is far better because it ONLY does a mouseclick on your window to all the locations, then it returns back to normal. Super, super fast, and far better than using the virtual mouse of method #2.

It is also intentional in Pwnboxer to not broadcast your window switch hotkey. The reason for this is actually a great one. In WoW, it is very common for the servers to lag, often causing key commands to not be recognized when they are pressed. So for example, imagine you hit F12 to swap your main controlled window, and 4 out of 5 of your guys hit the refocus macro correctly, but 1 of them lagged. Now you are in a situation where your team is all messed up. This is a common situation that many multiboxers have found themselves in, which prompted a recommended feature to Pwnboxer to not bind key broadcasting to the same key that does window switching. This way, when people switch windows, they button mash their refocus macro to ensure 100% their team is focused correctly.

The end result is an window switching method, which is super fast, and combats potential WoW server lag.

I recommend using F12-F9 for your window swap, and then SHIFTF12 - SHIFTF9 to refocus your team. It'll be instant and work awesome.

Tim in ISBoxer you can hit your hotkey for say... Blizzard and it automatically turns on mousebroadcasting until you click the mouse once.

This cuts out a hotkey when comparing to Pwnboxer (attractive point one) and (attractive point 2) its nice because you sometimes guessing where your mouse should be when your main does not have an AoE and hitting the method #1 "broadcast a mouseclick at current mouse position" is not always accurate.

I am with the poster of this original comment (on this single part of his comment). This would be an awesome feature in Pwnboxer.
