| Dear Pwnboxer team, just a few days ago I switched from Keyclone to Pwnboxer after two years of multiboxing. Altough I'm satisfied with the program overall (I'll give a more detailed opinion in another thread), I'm missing a "round robin" option for keystrokes. What is round robin and what does it do? In Keyclone, "round robin" lets you assign keys which will be sent to one game window after another on each keystroke (also, a short sound will be played each time you hit the assigned key(s)). However, if you press shift + the assigned key, it will be sent to all game windows at once. I am aware that the same mechanism can also be achieved through macros. However, I find this method much less reliable and messy. ![]() What makes it so useful? "round robin" is very useful if all your toons have an ability on the same key you don't want them to use all at once. In the case of my 5 shaman team, this would include abilities such as: "Ancestral Ressurection" "Thunderstorm" (very nice for both PvE and PvP situations) "Mana Tide Totem" (their effect doesnt stack) "Riptide" (5 Riptides on one target is just overkill) "Earth Shield" (doesn't stack either) Right now I'm using both Pwnboxer and Keyclone at the same time to still benefit from the feature. However, I hope that my arguments will inspire you to consider implementing this feature into Pwnboxer aswell. Cheers! Sliceback55 |

| Are you sure PB doesn't have a round-robin? It is a very basic and quite essential feature for boxing. Cannot believe it doesn't have round-robin, perhaps buried somewhere. Anything that you want staggered, is useful for round robin. For Shammies, the totem drop macro... put Call of Whatever on round-robin, and have totems staggered (Tremor being the key). I have Set Focus, on round-robin. Both for PvE and PvP. Have toons that will do whatever @Focus,Harm,Nodead, on a key press, but the Focus has to be set. Probably missing some, but off the top of my head: - DeathKnights have Death Grip on round-robin. - Druids have Innervate and Tranquility on round-robin. - Pallies have the stun. - Priests have Pain Suppression, Power Infusion, Fear Ward, Psychic Scream. - Shammies also have Earthbind and Fire Elementals on Round-Robin. |

| To be honest nobody has really asked for this before in Pwnboxer, not that I ever recall. We even had a pretty massive (hundreds attended) live developer online conference about a week ago or so and it wasn't brought up either. I think the reason nobody has asked for it is because you can easily do this with in-game macros. Anybody else think that round-robin would be something they would want in Pwnboxer? |

YES! I would approve greatly if this could be implemented. It would save time: instead of having to make macros for each and every toon we can just make all that possibly with the "touch of a button". Basically there are soooooo many abilities that would benefit from this. Everything from totems, cc'ing.. to the standard "insert dps macro" ![]() It would be handy....awesome....and .....sweeeeeeeet. Edit: i forgot to mention that if possible, please let us decide which window the round robin will be "active" on. f.ex: If you got 5 games open (but that only want round robin enabled for games 2 and 5, instead of having it work from first keypress = use spell on game 1, the second keypress = game 2, etc). | It depends on the your classes really. If you're a non-Elemental shammy (or an Elemental who did not take Fulmination), you can stagger your spells with things like Water/Lightning Shield. Shm A: /castsequence Tremor Totem, Lightning Shield, Lightning Shield, Lightning Shield. Shm B: /castsequence Lightning Shield, Tremor Totem, Lightning Shield, Lightning Shield. Etc.. But what abilities do a Death Knight team have, that you can put into a castsequence to round-robin Death Grip? |

The less macros/scripts you have in a multiboxing setup the better in my opinion. | |

| My point was... a small number of compositions can get by without a round-robin feature, the vast majority cannot. A round-robin feature is very basic, and extremely useful for a lot of classes/teams. |

| I'm totally down with adding ANYTHING to Pwnboxer (that isn't cheating ofc) that people want to have added, so I've added this to the list of things going into Pwnboxer 3.0, which is aggressively being worked on right now. Thanks for the suggestion!!! |
