Pwnboxer doesn't configure windows properly

Okay so i have this same problem on my computer running vista, I've followed all the instructions, i've watched all the tut's, nothing seems to change, When i click start all games i get two windows with frames not sized the way i like at all, and pwnboxer does nothing after that, no keybroadcasting no nothing.

Please help.

I'm curious if you have a similar symptom I diagnosed on drake's vista install. if you run dxdiag do you get any errors when dxdiag attempts to test directshow? If that's the case then your windows install is likely beyond repair.

It say's No problems found, under all tabs.

next thing i'd recommend is try checking your registry for errors with pc tools registry mechanic and review your system logs in event viewer and see if you have an abundance of errors...

perhaps you could post your computer's hardware specifications?

I know drake had an ati video card. finding something common could be the clue everyone that's experienced this similar issue can use for reference despite my probable expectation that windows vista as well as ati video cards are just a steamy pile of crap

How long has it been since you did a fresh windows reinstall? if it's been several years it's highly probable that you've gotten all the expected reliability your current install has to offer.
