| A lot of people have expressed pure delight over the new Dockable Clickmapping feature in Pwnboxer. I use it myself on my new 2x Rogue team and couldn't live without it! Over the past week or so since it has been released, tons of people have been asking for various tweaks to this, both in the game, on the JTV chat, in emails, PMs, etc. It is becoming a bit hectic for me to keep track of things, so... Lets use this thread as an official "Dockable Clickmapping (DCM) Tweaking Request" thread! If you are using it now and would like to have it tweaked in any way, please list your ideas here! Please be as descriptive as possible and even include some scenarios how the tweak would help you better. Also, feel free to respond to other people's requests. Let me start things out: More Buttons Yo! The current DCM has a 9 button limitation which simply is not enough. I would like to increase this by a dramatic amount by allowing users to create their own custom DCM window size (Eg, 2x10 "grid"). Further, I would like to be able to create multiple DCM windows and have them active at the same time. Sticky it! I'd like to be able to "stick" a DCM window to a location so it doesn't move. This would be Pwn as I often accidently move the DCM window around accidently. |

| Senior Member | The only thing I would add to the above mentioned items would be for the dock window(s) to remember where it was upon closing of the Pwnboxer application. This way I do not have to reposition it every time I load up PB and my WoWs. (this tweak would also apply to the PB Panel)

| I was hoping that it would alow me to deside witch game window to send the keystroke too, without using the Key remapping. |

| Take a page out of all those clickable unit frames out there(aka healbot, grid, ect...). Allow the # of columns/rows to be editable, resizable, ect... and allow different actions to fire on different mouse clicks(ie right click, middle, 4, 5, ect...) You could also potentially have different dock click-sets based on which game was focus or use the remapping feature to send different clicks to different games based on which game is focus. Btw the pwnboxer panel now disappears when key broadcasting is not paused(maybe this is a new option somewhere but I didn't notice a switch for this, fyi my panel hide/show button is F9 and 'Pause/Break' is key broadcast toggle). Both the Clickmap and panel will disappear and randomly reappear if you fast game switch a good bit. |

| Try hitting the show/hide key, it will bring the PB panel back. I notice this too, rare, but sometimes. The # rows/columns is already under dev |

Kinda funny that I only use it now as a quick look to see if I have key broadcasting on or off...assuming that it didn't get lost in a shuffle | |

| I use it all the time and don't run into those issues. Maybe you have the PB Panel show/hide somehow being triggered by something else you are doing for key presses? |

Bah, I can't figure out how to quote from there to here...here's a link to the entry. Basically, I would LOVE to see the ability to have multiple keybind assignments per clickmap cell (i.e., 'multibinding') so I can utilize the lua syntax I use for several of my favorite macros. The blog entry has the examples. And this...is a picture of what happens if you fail to set your clickmap correctly for Slow Fall when dropping out of the sewer tunnel in Dalaran... | Reading your blog, the macro example you give uses mouse buttons right? btn2 is your right mousebutton if i recall correctly. If my memory serves me that means that the buttons would have to send mouse commands to a specific location, which sort of isn't the purpose of dockable clickmapping. I however can understand that you would want the ability to use say Modifier + key, like CTRL+NUM* or SHIFT+NUM*. This would change your macro from this: Code: /castsequence [btn:2] Molten Armor, Mage Ward /stopmacro [btn:2] /castsequence reset=5 Mage Ward, Mage Armor, Dalaran Brilliance Code: /castsequence [modifier:shift] Molten Armor, Mage Ward /stopmacro [modifier:shift] /castsequence reset=5 Mage Ward, Mage Armor, Dalaran Brilliance I have to admit that i have not had any real look into the code at this point and never actually used dockable clickmapping myself. So if i misunderstand your point or the way people use this feel free to correct me. But it is something that Tim (and me) might want to think about for a 3.0 release, but i'll leave that up to tim In the meantime, wouldn't changing the macro to what i said, and physically holding shift when you click it also sort your problem? I'm not sure if that would work, but from the way pwnboxer works, it actually should be able to do that. |
