The cost of computer parts now you can build a pretty decent system with under 1k$ and thats using quad core and everything. I suggest getting no less than 12gb of ram, so make sure your Mobo will support at least 6 slots for ram. I too am starting to price out and piece together a new system, probably will keep my old one and put the new one beside it, and keep the new one for WOW only, and keep the old one for internet browsing only, while keeping the new one for playing wow, and possibly getting into streaming my ventures. I have a kickass internet on Optic with 20meg upload so I'd love to see what quality I will get streaming! Right now my system putts along when I have 5 wows open, browser in the background, and all the streaming programs open. Hmm on that note, I want to burn through a dungeon! LOL

I just tried Pwnboxer out 2 days ago and streamed 4x DKs with the latest WoW update. Did pretty good, we burned through 4 instances really fast

Could Leatrix be screwing with the way PwnBoxer works? I'ts a script that edits your registry to lower your ping, and works really well. Think this might be the issue?

Has this been resolved yet? I am having problems as well. I have tried everything and still PB just launches in two separate windows and I have no control over them through PB. I am using Vista 64 and was 5 boxing fine with keyclone but PB has (by what I have seen on the videos) a better user interface and I would like to use it. I am in the same boat of paying for it and it does not work, I was excited about the being up and running in 5 minutes but was not able to get anything running. Please help!

Not sure if I'm using that or not (the Leatrix Latency).
I know I was at one point.

I know how you feel bud they blame it on us and not their program. I know for a fact theres no registry problems with my PC and PB will run fine with older versions of wow, it just doesn't with 4.0+

Pwnboxer 3.0 is in the works. I am fully confident that the team will put together their magic and deliver a product worthy of the ticket price.

I spent a couple hours helping Drake via remote assistance on skype and Teamviewer and it looks as if Directx on his system was malfunctioning. dxdiag would crash when testing or accessing directshow. his vista x64 system also had around 700-800 registry errors and an installer for klite codec pack which has a directshow library repair utility had errors installing claiming the registry was read only and could not be written to.

operating system inconsistencies and i'm nearly certain problems with directx not working will most definitely affect how reliably pwnboxer works.

additionally a microsoft MVP (uber certified microsoft IT guru) on microsoft's technet web forums recommended reinstalling windows to fix the problem. Noted in this scenario pwnboxer is not the cause of the issues it's just displaying symptoms caused by the underlying problem which is highly likely an installation of windows vista that's gone sour like old milk past it's expiration date.

Likely solution? clean format reinstall upgrade to windows 7 x64
