I am wondering if anyone currently has this running for CO. CO uses a launcher to log you in. If you try to log in with the client, it will just attempt to connect to the accoutn server and fail. I wanted to check before I bought the software.

Okay, that sounds great. I was able to narrow down some things. It appears that the launcher must create some type of SOCKS proxy on the machine to allow the login and authentication servers to work. You can run the game from the client, but never get past the login screen. I have tried to run the patcher to log into 1 account then run the gameclient for the other and it still failes. There is an option to specify server that works to get past the authentication, but not the login server. I am seeing if there are other options. I tried the advanced options on a Windows 7 machine, but it didn't seem to do anything when I told it gameclient.exe. It acted like it started, but did nothing with the windows. It also acted like it wasn't responding when I told it to stop. I am more then willing to help out how ever I can to get things working.

I should ask if you need some people to help beta test with other online games. I would be more then happy to help out. Does PwnBoxer create a log file or anything? Last edited by Ikyo; 02-12-2010 at 09:53 PM.

Has anyone been able to use PWNBoxer with anything other then WoW? If you did, I am wondering how you got it setup. I think there is an issue with PWNBoxer taking control over the game. I have tried running it both in full screen and windowed mode. I have been trying running the game solo to control the window size.

I am trying to put in the advanced features and it keeps telling me to enter a Battlenet account. Is this a current issue that is being addressed?

| Okay, I went back to an older version and here is what I have tried to do. I put in the gameclient.exe file into PB. I click start game and nothing happens. I also did stop and it changes the button, but that is it. It isn't starting the game for some reason. I am wondering what is causing that. Could it have anything to do with the C++ files? I forgot to say that I am running Windows 7 Ultimate (64 bit). I can setup desktop sharing if needed. I looked through the logs and didn't see anything that was referencing PB issues. | You have to run PB as an administrator, then put the final client name in the advanced section if you need to use a launcher. Then, run it manually via the launcher, then once done, click start all games. If it doesn't require a launcher, put in the normal .exe path. |
