Problems with wow wanting to update

First off, back up your WTF folder, as this is the settings for all your addons, window positions etc. The only thing you'll lose and have to redo is hotkeys for your action bars.

Once you have uninstalled the game.
If you can copy the entire wow folder, from a working install (copy a friends or from your 2nd PC), run Launcher.exe as an administrator.
This will write wow's location in your registry.
Plus since it was a copy of an up to date wow, you won't need to go through 4-5 hours of patching.
The launcher as administrator lets you patch in the future from that folder.

Problem solved, tried what Ualaa suggested and it works fine.
