Problem with pwnboxer - Page 2 - Multiboxing in World of Warcraft and Beyond!

That is a HORRIBLE place for it.

Place it in either

C:\Users\Public\XXXX

or

C:\Program Files (x86)\XXXX

and then make a link or whatever on your taskbar or desktop or start menu.

Post back with results.

I installed it in the user folder like you instructed, ran both xp mode files (to enable xp to run in win 7) and its still acting up like the pic i posted.

Right click on the Pwnboxer executable.
Click on the "Compatibility" tab.
Check the "Run this program as administrator" checkbox.
Click apply and OK.

Then try and run Pwnboxer and see what happens.
(a verification msg will pop up when you run it, just click ok)

dont run in xp mode

Try not running it in XP mode before you try the admin thing above...

You should NOT EVER EVER EVER run ANYTHING in XP mode unless it doesnt work at ALL in Windows 7 and you need to try.

I have tons of programs installed on Windows 7 (I do a lot of development and software testing for people) and never had I once had to use XP mode.

do i uninstall xp mode programs i downloaded from microsoft?

i ran it with admin checked in the compatability tab and the same thing happens to the interface, and w/out selecting any different versions of win in the compatability mode either. No luck

I thought this was a clean install?

For testing purposes you need to install (format during install) your Win 7 Pro.

Once installed do NOTHING but download Pwnboxer
Create a directory for it in C:\Users\Public\
and then bind/run it.

Dont change any settings or install ANYTHING else.

ok, i am on my laptop and am reformatting my c: drive and reinstalling win 7 and then download pwnboxer
