Problem Opening Pwnboxer

So I just recently purchased pwnboxer, followed the setup instructions and what not, got everything running great. Ran around on my new team for a little while and then went to bed. Today I get on and try to open Pwnboxer. It opens the window and then sits there "loading" and will not allow me to interact with the program at all. I've restarted the program, restarted my computer, ran it as administrator... nothing. It just sits there doing nothing. This is rather frustrating.

Any ideas?

Ok rebooted compy for a third time and now its working

New problem. Everytime I load up my slave toon... all my macros are missing. my Driver has all his macros, but the other one, my UI resets to its annoying default and the macros delete themselves from my macro list.

Its like anything that I change, such as actionbar placement with Bartender, mini-map buttons, spell button locations, anything that you would change and move around that would normally be saved, is being forgotten. I made a specific bartender profile for my dual boxing setup, and then when I restart wow its all gone. Its only doing it on the slave account though. I can change things on the driver account and they stay just fine... This is very confusing...

And now my slave account keeps crashing after about 25 minutes of playing...

If your WoW crashes, it loses all the things you've done before the crash. So if you make macro/UI changes, close/exit that WoW and reload it to ensure you don't lose those changes if you crashed.

Its an addon that has been causing people's games to crash for an unknown reason. Typically simply removing that addon causes things to go back to normal. Dbl check if you have it in your Addons folder.

Basically here is the list for people who have WoW crashes.

#1 Defrag the HD WoW is on
#2 Delete the cache directory inside WoW
#3 Backup your interface and WTF folders
#4 Run the repair.exe inside your WoW folder to make WoW recheck its files, select all options
#5 Remove Recount if you have it


Then start `er all back up. If crashing persists, then it is likely to be from an addon, so remove 1 addon, restart WoW, check for crashing, remove another addon, etc., until you track it down.

I just started having the same problem with the program. I can run WoW dual accounts no pwnbxer two screens everything fine and once I load up one acc with the program boxer immediatly crashes right after. Oh and I have ran the WoW repair a couple times and it comes back with no problems found. I have the curse client so i do my updates when needed for my addons. sorry but somethings up with boxer lol. I havent made any changes to since I was able to get it going.

It probably is an addon then. For example, recount causes crashes left and right. If you have that, remove it for sure.

Otherwise, reboot, then go into your WoW directory, and rename your addon directories (thereby disabling ALL addons). Then start up wow. If it works, then enable addons one at a time to figure out which is causing the problem.

To date, Pwnboxer has never had an issue crashing It has always been an addon, or a couple times it was a keystroke logger the person had which, funny enough, interfered with Pwnboxer. Pwnboxer needs to send keys to WoW, and when the key logger tries to shard your purples, Pwnboxer unintentionally gets in the way.
