Ok, I finally figured this out in a way that I can describe here so hopefully it can be reproduced. It has been aggravating me for a long long time ![]() This is the problem: - I have a 2-monitor setup, my main is on monitor 1 and my slaves are on monitor 2. I use the zoom window to track herb/mine nodes on my druid/priest which are on right upper and left lower quadrant (respectively) of monitor 2. - I have enable zoom checked in PB, and the zoom window is alway on top. - It starts out fine, until I start hovering back and forth (i have game focus on mouse over enabled) the windows on monitor 2 and monitor 1. After the second hover, the zoom window disappears and I have to alt-tab, find it and put it back on top Now, the problem does NOT happen if either of the following is done: - In addition to the zoom window being on top, I make every slave window on top as well. This is annoying, as I basically am losing the option of using monitor 2 for other windows while I am playing, like looking up quests on wowhead, etc... - I don't enable force no window border or force max windowed mode for window1 (my main). In other words, if anything in PB removes the border of my main, the zoom window does not stay on top. BUT if the border of window 1 is not disabled, the zoom window stays on top. I wanted to capture what I am talking about with captivate but it does not span both monitors. So this is the best way I can describe this. Hopefully, this can be reproduced by the community

I noticed something else too. Even if I don't force maximize through Pboxer but I remove the border through another application (like HKN) the same problem happens! If the border of the main wow window (the master, the one on monitor 1) is showing, the zoom window stays on top... What am I missing here ?? Last edited by Janus; 01-12-2011 at 04:22 PM. | |

Close HKN and just use PB and remember to do the on top for Zoom like I mentioned. I just tested and confirmed works perfect.

I'm not sure what "Repeater Region" means. But the Pwnboxer 3.0 has some really advanced mouse broadcasting methods that are going to be really amazing. I'm not saying the exact stuff other than its going to be pretty amazing, as in, massive amazing.

Repeater Region. - An area of the screen, defined in advance, which auto enables mouse broadcasting just by moving the mouse into the area; moving the mouse out of the area disables the broadcasting. - Ideally passes mouse clicks (left, right, middle, thumb buttons, scrollwheel, etc) with modifiers (no modifier, alt, ctrl, shift, alt+ctrl, etc). - No need for any hotkey to enable/disable the broadcasting. HKN was being used specifically for the Repeater Region, for healing and/or decursing. If it interferes with the Zoom Window, was wondering if there will be an equivalent feature included in PB that won't interfere with it?

Okay thanks for the description. PB 3 has that already + more that I'm right smack in the middle of making, so we are definitely going to be good there.

I always run PB alone. The reason I brought up HKN, is I saw it had a feature to disable the frame, so I just tested it to see if it would make a difference. I am just gonna make a movie of what I am talking about. It won't be both monitors covered but at least it'll give you an idea. Will post the link back here

So you tested what I mentioned right about enabling the zoom window to have the "on top" option be enabled? You still never said you did
