[PROBLEM/BUG] Zoom window not staying on top

Just gonna HiJack this thread, instead of making another.

I've tried out the zoom function myself, and it's ok. The one thing I am missing is the ability to resize, have a predefined # of zooms, instead of one for every game. If there is a resize function, how would I even do that? I couldnt get it to work.

Tim, when I registered using my Gmail, the verification mail wouldn't come up, and yes, I checked my spam folder. But once I changed to @hotmail.com it worked perfectly.

Also when can we expect 3.0?

when i right click the zoom window i see "stick this window in foreground". Is this what you're talking about ? if so, yes it is checked.

I can't capture the zoom window with captivate....
Another thing that I noticed that if all games windows are on one monitor, the zoom sticks in the foreground
Could it be a windows problem ? or a wow problem ?

So this is the problem.

If my master's window is filling the ENTIRETY of the monitor, meaning if the setup coordinates are :
left : 0
top:0
width: 1920
height: 1080

the problem occurs.

BUT if i make a change ever so slight so that it doesn't occupy the entire potentially available space on the monitor, I tested up to:
left: 0
top: 1
width: 1920
height:1079

the zoom window stays stuck on top.

Can anyone try this and see if it can be reproduced. I resized the main game window to the above settings and I haven't had a problem since

Try making a video of the issue you are seeing, that would help things out quite a bit. I still can't replicate it.

Also make sure your video recording of your desktop is configured to handle layers, but most do.

Try using Camtasia Studio, its a free unlimited use 30 day software for doing recording and youtube video making. In their recorder, enable the .camrec file format, and do layered windows. Should be real, real easy to make a video.

I'd really like to get this bug nailed if it exists in the 3.0 which is why I'm asking

I got camtasia downloaded. The quality of the movie is really bad. I am trying to grab both my monitors to illustrate the problem. I guess I will have to grab just my main monitor. I will work on getting done so you see it.
