Hi All, First thing, I would like to say that I bought pwnboxer last night and after a couple of hours messing about, I was able to get it up and running. Having previously used Octopus for about a year, I am extremely pleased with pwnboxer. Octopus made my computer not only crash but actually shut off and last night was the first time in months that I was able to play completely worry free and that felt AWESOME. ![]() However, having tried to start things up today, Pwnboxer will not launch the WoW start screens which makes me very because I destroyed AV last night running my Druid, Hunter and 3 Priest team.So at the moment, I am geeking for a repeat of the festivities last night but the software gods are denying me my bliss. I know that I must have screwed something up but I cannot figure out what it is. Here are my specs (on the off-chance that this info might prove enlightening) Intell Quad 2.33 GHz 8 GB RAM XP OS Here is a brief explanation of the problem: I was able to load the exact layout mode that I used last night and when I hit 'start all games' nothing happens. I don't even get the WoW launcher screen: just nothing. It is almost as though the 'start all games' function isn't working. My game paths are set to WoW.exe I watched the start-up intro video and I have looked around for threads on how to set up Pwnboxer but I have not been able to find anything that really explains how to set things up. Thanks in advance for any hints, tips, advice or solutions!

Anyways, on to your problem. Did you try re-setting your game paths and see if that fixes your issue?

Another Noob Question: I am noticing this other thing; however many clients I select to run on Pwnboxer, I always have one less than the number selected. Is this a bug or am I screwing up somehow? | |

Hmm, that might be a bug with windows XP. I run W7 and it works fine for me. Maybe Tim or someone else can shine some light on your issue.

Ah ya, well not surprised to hear that it might be a problem with XP. XP seems to find a way to screw up everything. Thanks for the help though; having a blast and Pwnboxer is, indeed, living up to its name.

If you are using windows XP then you have to download the specific build for XP. It is stickied in this forum. The reason is because the new PBs utilize a lot of speed enhancements that are only available to the Vista/7 OS.

Anytime! Also, I'm deep into developing a new version of Pwnboxer which will replace the XP one as well as Vista/7 one. Couple weeks out give or take.
