This is true and I even PM'd Ualaa a second after pruning this thread. I like to keep things on topic as this software support forum is for those softwares that are supported on this website and the OP had question/suggestion for Pwnboxer.

For the record, and I'm sure all you conspiracy peeps will screenshot this for later, I actually do like IS Boxer, and I know Lax/Joe is actually a nice guy. We are working on getting him involved in the site which was put on a little delay due to a new addition to his family

Should I add it?
Has this now been added as one of the reasons I left pwnboxer and started using ISBoxer is because of this very fact (also the accuracy on mouse click boxes for healing) so if it is an option to have instance switch then I would definitely switch back to Pwnboxer

Thanks

This was added a while ago to Pwnboxer The option is in the fast game switching area.

A big thing to note: Pwnboxer has a LOT of built-in things that enable slower PCs to run 3-5x WoWs at once. I've benchmarked normal 5x WoWs and then 5x WoWs with Pwnboxer and have seen 70% reduction in resource usages. That is huge!

By enabling that option to speed up the fast game switching, you disable some of those resource savers.

But if you have a beefy machine (like I do), it definitely is badass

Hi Tim,

Thanks for the reply, as promised I bought Pwnboxer and have a couple of points;

1. It says on the main page of your site "All orders now include training videos sent directly to you via email instantly!!!" And "You will be emailed access to training videos on setting up Pwnboxer and Multiboxing in World of Warcraft instantly!"

I have not received any links (I have checked spam folder etc)

2. I have installed Jamba with Pwnboxer and am having problems with getting my slaves to attack/accept same quests as Master and (as I saw in your 3 x Druids video) auto looting with the master.

I really want to get going on this asap, but it seems the only video tutorials I can find are all about people playing and how well they can do BG's/heroics etc lol

Also is there a voice server for support or would anyone be willing to join my personal TS server to assist? Do you guys have an IRC channel?

Thanks in advance.

Bob.

The attacking/assisting is on the software end... not to do with Jamba.

The easiest assist method is focus.
Have one focus key (on the same keybind for each member of the boxing team) per the number of guys on your team.
In a five-box team, you want five "focus me" keys.
The first one, will have everyone focus toon A, and that will be on the same keybinding, so when you push that keybind everyone across the team focuses that toon.
Repeat, for the remaining toons on the team.
Now any one member can (when you lead with that toon), become everyone's focus.

Your follow will be:
/follow [target=focus]

Your DPS will be:
#show Lightning Bolt
/cast [@focustarget] Lightning Bolt

Or:
#show
/castsequence reset=5 Corruption, Immolate, Incinerate, Incinerate, Incinerate, Incinerate, Incinerate

You can do heals like this:
#show Rejuvenation
/assist [@focus]
/cast [help][help,@targettarget][help,@targettargettarget] Rejuvenation

You'll have to configure Pwnboxer to send the correct keystroke to all clients.
I'm not a PB user, so am not sure how this is done.
But if the macro is on the correct keybind, and a focus is set for all toons... whichever toon you lead from will be everyone's focus and they'll auto-assist whatever you target.

For the basic Jamba setup, you need all of your toons within Jamba.

The easiest way to do this, is to pick the initial Master/Leader/Active toon.
Have all of the others add this toon, to their Jamba Team List, and make this toon their leader.
Then have the leader toon add the other four toons to the group.
Once this is done, have the leader "Push" settings which will have the slaves all accept her configuration options.

After that, configure Jamba however you like.
In the quest section, have the team auto accept any quest from a team member.
In the quest completion section, you have a few choices... if they're all the same class/spec, have them mimic whatever the master does; but if they're different, have them mimic the master, but choose their own reward if they select one... then go to whichever is the fewest toons (example: pick the tank's reward, switch to the healer and pick their reward) then switch to one of the DPS and pick a reward and hit complete quest.
The tank will get their selected reward, the healer their reward, and anyone without a reward selected will go with the option you picked when on the toon you were on, when you hit complete quest.

In general, you'll want the slaves to auto do whatever the master does.

Just go through the options bit by bit, and pick whatever is best.
On the dual-boxing forums (another boxing forum), Khatovar has a sticky guide to Jamba she made for beginners; that might help you a bit.

In Warcraft, set your toons to all Auto Loot everything, with say ALT as the exception key.
In Jamba, you can set the group to be "Free For All" or "Master Loot", when it is just your toons, but be sure to check the box to override this when others are in the group.
That way, either any toon can loot anything... or your active toon will "Master Loot" drops (to whoever can use them the most, or to the enchanter toon for disenchanting if they're not upgrades), but when a stranger joins your group or you're in a raid... everyone will get an even chance by having their roll option.

Thanks very much for the extensive reply Ualaa, much appreciated

I will give that a try later today and will also check out Khatovar's sticky post on the dual-boxing forums.

Regards.

Hey Roffeyb,

The registration email has a link to this: Instructional Videos Pwnboxer Multiboxing/Dualboxing Software

I've heard some people state that Twitch.tv/JTV is having issues showing the videos for some reason. Do they load up for you? The 3 videos on that page are hosted from their servers. I've been debating making brand new training videos, for basic set up of Pwnboxer, to setting up a casting team, even a melee team...

BTW, Ualaa is awesome as usual
