New version of Pwnboxer is out 02/15

I have released yet another update to Pwnboxer! This update fixes a small bug with Autofocus on mouse hover, as well as correctly setting window focus when using the fast game switch. Also, a small bug concerning games other than World of Warcraft have been fixed. Lastly, some minor performance tweaks have been made, making Pwnboxer even FASTER!

Again a big thanks to those who helped pin down a couple bugs!

Yea that was fixed too, forgot to update the notes.

This version is by far the best. Normally have some quirk qirk with new version but this one seems faster and more fluid.

The previous version to the 2/15 update had been deleting my key remapping. dunno if it was happening to anyone else but even with saved .pbcfg files i would lose all key remapping. is this addressed?

Your best bet is to start a new Pwnboxer config and save your keymappings in the new file, and not load up older versions at all.

For all of us with hundreds of key remappings, I certainly hope the migration will be smoother in the future. It was totally annoying to have to analyze the format change and manually hack the old .pbcfg file. Re-defining all the key remappings would have been even more painful.

Professionally developed commercial software, should manage these format changes between software updates. In this case, the conversion would have been trivial.

Without access to any of your Pwnboxer sources:

New format

It was stated a few times I believe already that the new Pwnboxer a few versions ago required you to use a new configuration due to enhancements made to the key remapping.

If you want to use your old configuration and not take advantage of the new things added to Pwnboxer, you can always do so, you aren't required to upgrade.

If you do want to take advantage of the new things always being added to Pwnboxer, then there is a slight chance, however very rare, you may need to use a new Pwnboxer configuration.
