Hello,
I recently purchased Pwnboxer cause i knew i would enjoy it.However this programs been causing me these rare hiccup issues from day to day.

EXSAMPLES 1-3

1:I setup my 5 accounts and everything is fine, but soon as i x-out the accounts+pwnboxer and load wow.exe and going to options and set all my vid settings correctly and then log in to my single account wiothout pwnboxer i get stuck at 10fps.When i restart my comp it's ok when reloading my wow.exe.

2:I am not a keybinder and i am a clicker always have been, so when i have the other 4 uis within pwnboxer set and with the fps set to 10 on ui 2-3-4-5 thier seems to be a hugh delay on timeing correctly, example 5 druids go cat form theirs always 1 or 2 that don't transform correctly

3:The epic omg...wth...so what happens here is i login with pwnboxer 5 account then all of a sudden everything on my ui go freaking ballistic, images tearing black screen white screen comp locking up, and at the end i have to restart my comp manually just to get out of hell.This has happened everytime i load pwnboxer up today and has happened a few times in the past.

Network: Download 0.99mbps Upload 0.89mbp-Ingame i get about an average 100-150 ms with each account, which is not really bad to compared to other people playing with 500ms.

The weird thing is on my pwnboxer options for ui 1 theirs no limits so i average about 60fps and of course the recommended 10fps for ui 2-3-4-5 is thier as well and for the past few days everythings been fine except for today as i was saying in exsample 3 i just cannot use the program with out heavy problems and no my comp is fine i play skyrim on full graphic's and also can play wow with out pwnboxer fine as well.Without pwnboxer single account wow.exe i get about 120fps and average 60ms

So is their anything wrong on my end of things i missed or any sugjestions, maybe trying a older ver. of pawnboxer since i am playing wotlk 3.3.5a??Or does pwnboxer need to fix bugs with their app that i paid about $56 for?

If Neither is the problem and still cannot fix my problems is their anyway to get a refund?

It seems like #2 could stem from #1. If you are clicking, you are probably using the mouse broadcast feature. Be sure that the alternate screens are about the same scale as your main screen, and that they aren't super super long or wide

#3 sounds familiar... I think it was an issue with shadows or something. Try turning those down.


My $0.02 I can offer right now. Tim and the others here are very good at helping with support. I'm sure you will get more suggestions.

What u need to be aware of for mouse broadcasting, is that a single pixel difference can make the UI on slave windows 'missformed'

What i noticed is that when i use automatic sizing of the slave windows, the value of the size is often rounded up or down (havent looked at the code, but ofc it makes sense), making them not PERFECT copies on scale, simply because u cant have half a pixel more or less width.

What solved it for me was instead of using that, rightclickig the fields in pwnboxer and set the sizes myself to exactly a quarter of the main window, also dont use any dodgy resolutions for wow (best way to see is if the UI drasticly rescales when u add like 10 pixels or remove 10 pixels from width and/or height)
TL;DR: find the sweet spot for size of windows, make sure they are mathematicly perfectly scaled, and keep your UI simple, it solves any issue with click broadcasting.

For #1, the issue is that pwnboxer changes your config.wtf, so what you probably want to do is keep a backup from your 'single-window' setup, and swap that back in whenever you want to play without pwnboxer. it shouldnt be needed, but whatever settings you use might make it less enjoyable to play without pwnboxer

If you've already got Pwnboxer, it doesn't hurt to get as much technical support for it as possible, to see how well it can run for you.

That said, there are free versions or trial versions of other software.
In the meantime, if you cannot get PB to work for you...
Hot Key Net is free.
Game Commander Pro and IS Boxer both have trial periods.
Cannot think of another boxer software that would compete with Pwnboxer.

I used to run PB, then stuck with Keyclone for about 2 years only until about a month ago when ISboxer suddenly made sense (after many puzzled attempts to get it running over the years) and imho it's light-years ahead of anything that PB can do, barely a bug in sight, very powerful software I would highly recommend.

The system lockups i would just attribute to low available system memory, DDR2 memory will be extremely overloaded with 5 wow accounts running and an aging pc.

also using ready boost and an 8GB usb stick as temporary "false" ram to sidestep the issue of your 4GB installed memory problem will likely not be able to cope with the demands required. usb flash media typically cannot handle multiple i/o tasks simultaneously.

Short answer is you should really consider a proper memory upgrade to 8GB or more or build yourself a newer pc if your serious about running 5 accounts.

also just noticed your wow clients are severely outdated and have known bugs that cause system lockups and game crashes. perhaps try the wow free to play option with newer official cataclysm wow clients.

Chamassa: None of the tips worked. maybe pwnboxer does not like windowed mode at all.I'll keep twicking things around and see what the problem is again for a few days using pwnboxer everything was working fine.

Nghtmr9999: ya i am using mouse broad cast and i am using the default modes 1 or 2 still nothing.

OnVentUK, Ualaa, OnVentUK: i am sticking with pwnboxer i paid 56 dollars for the dam thing.

xartin: stop trolling my system is more then enough to handle multi boxing with ram upgrade or not.but thank for trying.

OK now for my update for my option number 3 in my original post if i just use 2 accounts instead of 5 i still get similar issues except my computer does not lock up it's similar to this other guys thread. link here

PwnBoxer WoW video freezes

now with that said i went to that thread and removed recount addon and also lowered my game playing experience with deul 2 accounts mode 1 50/50 which looks like crap and still the second account froze up but in the first account i was able to still seen the slave following me ect ect.

So basically i am still haveing problems with deul boxing or multi boxing theirs issue with the software. or settings or something.however like i said when i first started using the program i was multiboxing 5 accounts with np's what so ever then on like day 4 of using the program it just started cuase huge problems so something wrong with the software.

the only thing i can think of is using an older ver of pwnboxer however like this guy in the other thread he obviously has a uptodate wow client so my ver of wow should not be an issue resolver for this problem.

any new sugjestions please let me know ty.I'll try using no windowed mode now and see if that resolves anything.ok unchecking window mode with in the game did not fix anything.i guess ill just have to wait for a update to the software or until i see something promising.Please keep this thread active+sticky for anyone else that may have simular problems with pwnboxer ty.
