| Hey Tim, I don't know what happened between yesterday and today, but I lost my PB as well, sucks that I just added the other 3 accounts for my 5 box setup yesterday too. I can open each window or copy of wow without PB with no problems at all, and they run just fine. After opening PB and hitting start all games, or even just opening each game individually, they lock up at the loading stage. I do get the window to open, and it is in the right place and all, but it is unresponsive and had the cursor in a still loading phase. After 2 hours, even a single game is still in the same state. I thought it might just be my video card acting up, so I replaced my gtx 460 with a ati 5770, then a gt9800, and finally with my really old 8500gtx...all with the same issue, nothing different. Note: I updated the drivers between each test card as well. I also tried to rollback drivers where I could to see if it might be a driver error, each time with the same end result, PB locking up wow. I also noticed each copy of wow is now running approx. 175,000K of memory...and they each go up from there. I have 6GB's total, and nothing else is running that doesn't need to be. Each copy is staying at 13% with all of my processors, normally that would be a high point on my processors with an average of 4% in the main window and 2% in my background copies(12% total, hearthing to dal with 5 copies open peaks me up at 89% untill dal is loaded on all 5 copies, then is my highest usage of 45% total). Update, this is the error I am getting: Description: A problem caused this program to stop interacting with Windows. Problem signature: Problem Event Name: AppHangB1 Application Name: Wow.exe Application Version: 4.0.1.13205 Application Timestamp: 4cbf8b54 Hang Signature: 9626 Hang Type: 0 OS Version: 6.1.7600.2.0.0.256.48 Locale ID: 1033 Additional Hang Signature 1: 962640a6843427910b0c408cb29847af Additional Hang Signature 2: 21e5 Additional Hang Signature 3: 21e5df6898c4caee329bdcd3cadb13bc Additional Hang Signature 4: 9626 Additional Hang Signature 5: 962640a6843427910b0c408cb29847af Additional Hang Signature 6: 21e5 Additional Hang Signature 7: 21e5df6898c4caee329bdcd3cadb13bc Read our privacy statement online: Windows 7 Privacy Statement - Microsoft Windows If the online privacy statement is not available, please read our privacy statement offline: C:\Windows\system32\en-US\erofflps.txt Hmmm...seems if I turn off the mouse broadcasting, the restart the PB app, it will let me open them one by one, but not all at once. Sometimes have to open and close the PB app a few times for that to work though, seems it is not saving its settings or something as I have had to redo the changes every time I open it back up. The last thing I got working is no longer working...I don't know why. Seems if any checkbox is touched or even moused over for me, every app of wow open crashes into the non responsive app-hanging state. I am down to the point of having to uncheck every box just to get a game window open; kind of defeats the purpose if I cannot switch windows or broadcast keys. |

| Okay silly question here, but have you done a clean reboot, defrag, check your patches on everything, then reboot again? I literally use PB nearly every day and never have encountered this, but if Windows somehow is awaiting a patch, or in the middle of something, since PB relies on a few core windows APIs, I could see a reboot helping out. Add me to skype (multiboxing) and mention your post name+issue and we can chat on skype bout it further. Make sure that info is in your skype request otherwise I'll probably block it along with the 10 other spam/pr0n skypes I get a day |

| if you want, I can give you access to my computer so you can see what it is doing if you arent busy atm. Through the msn app for remote assistance or whatever. eit: when you get on, I will be on my computer all day. Installing Skype now, not something I have ever used, name on there is the same as on here. Last edited by kasper3577; 11-01-2010 at 04:01 PM. |

| Just for good measure, I fully removed all wow applications and addons from my computer. I am reloading the entire game now. I will update this when that is finished to let you know what is going on at that point. Wow, if this thing loads any slower...almost done with the 5GB 3.3.x to 4.0.0 patch now. Update: Applying the last non critical updates now. I also deleted my PB and re-unzipped a new copy onto my desktop just to be sure it is fresh as well. | OK, with a fresh install of everything, it works with no apparent problems so far. Are there any addons I need to avoid like the plague? Because that had to be the issue if I am playing a second fresh install and not having any problems now. Addons I normally use are: Chinchilla minimap dominos bars xperl or pitbull(I normally used pitbull, but can read xperl better on the lower resolutions, not as pixelated) quartz stats block core with normal adds to it, or fubar, or titanpanel, whichever is working at the time bagnon for my bags recount omen 3 and prat3.0 going to find chatter instead, I like it better oh, and with pitbull, I would use grid, with xperl, i use the xperl raid frames and jamba of course thats all I can think of atm. | Recount is well known to have major issues with multiboxers which very well could have been the exact culprit to your problem. |
