Here are some basic and ideas for more detailed stuff.

set up team

master invites team
designate primary master
designate slave to master order
Auto update if master dies

auto accept team invite

auto set focus to current master
notify master if focus changes

choose auto follow options
manual
auto follow after combat
etc.

auto accept shared quests from team

Tie in announcements so it acts like the ready check or the other raid leader chat, rather than in group chat.

Advanced options....
Would be nice to have the unit frames tied into the system also. So maybe not add grid in but actually add the grid function into the main unit frames.

I use x-perl currently but I would be happy to change that over to the new set up if was inigrated into the software.

Hope this makes sense.

Hey guys,

I am keeping a super close eye on this because there is some HUGE awesome potential here. I'm brainstorming a lot of things myself and hope to write up a good post shortly

Keep up the good work and let the ideas flow some more!

What we need for this to work:
A place to keep it all tidy, a subforum would be awesome

software wise:
We need a base system, that allows for plugins, so we can basicly make a lua that does:

CREATE basic interface
Load Character settings
Save Character Settings
Allow for UI plugin (save the information you think is usefull in local crap, but dont go output them? or let plugin overwrite it?)
Make a module that can sign up to different events, so we can track them for the plugins

As i said, could we have a subforum for this, trying to put this all in 1 thread is going to be messy

What about BoxPwner as name :P? Only if tim likes it tbh, dont wanna use pwnboxer as inspiration if he doesnt.

Yea, I would, but I feel like a major ass right now, my schedule has been beaten to death then ran over for good measure about 5 times now...

I'm thinking what I could do since I have very very very little free time anymore... I'll spend an hour or 2 every Saturday morning and Wednesday night to try and toss the bits and pieces together, but there is no way I have nearly enough time to do everything.

So, our next step on action is a set of forums to do this on, and I'll need some people to SPECIFICALLY volunteer for doing certain portions of the feature list.
