if i need one separate account for each multi box character; then this multibox program doesnt make any sense and can get really expensive for any wow players

the multibox program is nothign to do with wow it works with any game what it does its clones keys to other wow windows and change the settings to low and adds the wow into a nice small box for you.

Yes Mutiboxing is not cheep for wow anyway theres a few games thats free i hear warhammer does a demo accont that does not stop and u can level to max on it so boxing that would be cheeper or there games like runes off magic that is free to play but wow the way blizzard runs it all chars need there own accounts

here a list off a cost

wow=£50 a month
Xbox360/ps3 game £40 each for 7/12 hours off fun
Night out at the cinema =£20
Night out drinking =£120

You probably should have done some research before buying this software. ALL multiboxing software works this way. It's impossible to have more than one connection to one account at the same time. It's not that expensive. 5 boxing is about $70 a month.

If you think about it, playing WoW is cheaper than some hobbies.

5 accounts using a 6 month sub @ $77.94 each = $389.70/year

A typical coin collector spends ~$100-$300/month or about $2400/year on coins
A dedicated stamp collector spends ~$2000-$4000/year

You need to have 1 account for each character you plan on having logged in at the same time. This is a limitation of WoW and NOT of ANY of the multiboxing softwares out there. It does not let you circumvent the ability put in WoW by blizzard to have only 1 character per account logged in at any given time.

You can also get free trials of WoW from Blizzard to play pretty much indefinitely to level 20 I believe without paying a dime.

Essentially, you end up paying something like... $15/mo per account. The game costs what $40-50 for a battlechest + lich king expansion (that is per account too), the next expansion will be $30 or so, per account.

Boxing software might run you $35 per year. Which averages $3 per month.

So you have an up front cost of $250 for the five accounts with lich king expansion. And will spend another $150 or so, when Cataclysm comes out. Then you are paying $75/mo, for subscriptions.

Compare this to RC (radio control cars)... The kit is $800, and you'll customize parts which will run you another $250 or so, you'll want a charger and two sets of batteries, which run you $400 or so, if you are competitively racing. Races are $50 entry. You'll crash every few events, which will set you back $100-200 in repairs. Four tires, will last you an event, but then you spend another $50 to replace them...

One evening out on the town, with the significant other is ~ $150, dinner, a couple drinks and a movie.... That's close to two months subscription fees for my five accounts.... Price/Cost is relative. Most boxers have jobs/careers, I spent $3000 on my PC.. 3 years ago, and have put another $1500 in, in upgrades in the last year. But, with an income, that's not really all that much.
