Unhappy Mouse wheel broadcasting issue

I'm new to multiboxing, but I have been able to completely set up my 2 mage system. The only problem I am having is my mouse (wheel) broadcasting.

(1) Enabling mouse broadcasting at all continuously sends error sounds when I move or click with my mouse.
(2) If I'm holding my right mouse button when I use the wheel it doesn't send the action to my puppet.
(3) If my puppet does manage to cast arcane missiles (mouse wheel down) he automatically stops following.

MB software: Pwnboxer
mouse: Razer Mamba
OS: Win 7

Macros used (puppet):
/assist focus
/cast [nodead, harm] arcane missiles

*focus is set to master character

There are no keybind crossover interferences in game, the keybinds are exactly the same for both toons (except a few unrelated functions). The characters are perfectly identical in every possible way.

Also I'd love it if my puppet would face my target when casting, running around to position him will cost me dearly in PvP.

Thank you all for your input and time. ~Fae

Not sure on some of that...

But certain actions will break follow.
These include:
- any movement, including strafing.
- initiating melee combat.
- channeling a spell, such as Arcane Missiles.

That's a function of the game and aside from either not doing it or re-following afterwards, cannot be avoided.

For the facing you have two options.

You can use a crafted item...
A Dark Jade Focusing Lens Dark Jade Focusing Lens - Item - World of Warcraft
That will turn your toon towards the target, without moving you.

You can also go with a keybind for Interact With Target (Escape > Keybinds > Targeting Functions).
Have Click to Move enabled (Escape > Interface Options > Mouse Options).
The procedure is:
- assist, so you're targeting whatever you want to kill.
- press IWT, so you begin to move towards the target.
- press any other movement key, such as down arrow to break the movement.

If your software supports two-step mapped keys.
You would want press = IWT and release = down arrow.
So you could press and hold, to regroup if you were fear-bombed.
And release once in range and facing the target.

You could also mouse broadcast, and hold right click to spin the toon manually.

Thank you, My issues have been resolved with the exception of my mouse broadcasting. It still only broadcasts the wheel about 1/2 of the time, and it doesn't broadcast either of the mouse side buttons (I only have 2) or the middle mouse button.

Also, you mention IWT, I have no idea what this is. At this point I'd maim an infant to get my hands of a program that perfectly cloned all of my actions in this game.

Furthermore, I paid 50 dollars for this program, despite suggestions to torrent it. To see that it is still very flawed and doesn't copy my mouse movements / actions on both characters (w/o special macros for every spell, and switching back and fourth like a madman for quests etc.) deeply disturbs me.

A lot of players use Pwnboxer, and Tim does give a good level of support, but is also fairly busy at times.
I'd suggest a private message to him; I'd assume he has email alerts on, when someone sends him one.

Pwnboxer is not the only option out there for boxing, but it seems to have almost everything you'd want in a boxing software.
Having paid the 50 bucks for it, I'd recommend doing whatever you can to get it working.
If after a reasonable effort, you cannot get it working, Tim has given refunds in the past.

I cannot really give that high of a technical support for Pwnboxer, because I've never used it myself.
I can give a basic idea of Keyclone, but haven't used that in several years; or a better idea of IS Boxer, as I've been happy with that for almost three years now.

Do you have special software for your mouse?
I know if you have software for your keyboard, other boxing options will suggest you run that software as an administrator for it to interact properly with the boxing software.
That's about the only thing I can suggest for the mouse stuff.
I can say definitively, mouse broadcasting with any button combination -- with or without modifier keys can be broadcast (example, Shift + Scroll Up, Alt + Ctrl + Mouse 5 (forward thumb button), etc...).

Interact With Target, was a function Blizzard put in to aid handicapped players with the game.

It functions the same as right clicking on the target, except that it is triggered via a key bind.
So you push the hot key, and the toons act like they have all right clicked on the target.

If that is a friendly target, a right click opens the context menu.
Which allows you to take a quest, buy/sell, open the flight master, pursue training options, etc... depending on the NPC.

If that target is hostile, this starts auto attack.

There is another function, called Click to Move.

When this is enabled, if you click on the ground in the game, your character will move there.
If you click on an NPC, with a right-click you will move to that NPC, if you can interact with them.
If you click on a hostile, your character will move to them, to initiate combat (with the exception of Hunters, because of their shooting instead of melee as their primary attack mode).

Besides the Interface Options > Mouse Options route, you can also toggle CTM on/off via an in-game command.
1 = On and 0 = Off.
/console AutoInteract x

You can combine these.
While CTM is enabled, if you IWT, your toon either moves to the NPC to interact, or moves to the target to kill it.

Hey there,

To double check, use Method 1 for the mouse stuff, and then set the specific keys to the keybind for broadcasting. I personally use the LEFT and RIGHT mouse button, binded to [ and ], probably 500+ times a day and I'm rocking the Rain of Fire like nobody's business

Tim, do you mean that you manually press [ or ] to have your puppet click somewhere?

And do you have a hypothesis on why the wheel broadcasting only works 1/2 of the time, or why my mouse 5 & 4 buttons aren't registering? It's rather frustrating.

There is no special software governing my mouse by the way, I just plugged it in and went, It's worked perfectly until pwnboxer.

I personally don't use the wheel but I do use other buttons all the time, such as for IWT. Let me double-check next time I stream (which will probably be today, or tomorrow).

If you catch me on the stream, feel free to ask, I'll demo it out for you. Multiboxing
