Default Keys not broadcasting right

Hey,

I don't know if anyone had this happen or not, but sometimes the keys don't broadcast right (in pwnboxer)

Example: I hit ctrl-1 on my master toon (buffs) and my slaves hit the 1 button (attack) This could get very annoying.

Any ideas on what could be causing this ?

Pwnboxer will broadcast any key you tell it to. If it isn't broadcasting CTRL+ buttons then it is because you do not have it configured to do so.

Just go into the key broadcasting option and add the keys you want broadcasted.

It is broadcasting the ctrl+button combination, but what I'm saying is, sometimes it broadcasts it right and other times it only broadcasts the button without the ctrl. This is annoying if my ctrl+1 (example) is a buff and my 1 is an attack command. When this happens I find myself having to click in each slave's window and retyping 1 (or whatever button was not broadcasting), and it takes care of the problem, but after a while it happens again...

This might sound silly, but could it be that you aren't holding down the CTRL key hard enough for your keyboard?

I'm going to be doing a live stream today Multiboxing in World of Warcraft on Justin.tv

Just to be sure, the first thing I'll do before starting out with whatever crazy stuff we do is to test CTRL+1 broadcasting in Pwnboxer to make sure there isn't anything weird going on.

Drop on by and see, it should be at 3pm CST (approx 2.5 hours from writing this post).

I don't think it's that. My master executes the ctrl+button macro with no problem, but the slaves don't. This happens whenever i switch game windows to loot on my toons or whatever. It's not the ctrl+1 button only, this can happen with any button. I put the ctrl+1 just as an example. But I noticed that the ~ key (which is my follow key) sometimes works perfectly but other times it causes my druid (game 3) to shapeshift. The z key (which is my mount key) sometimes mounts all my toons but sometimes on my hunter and ele shaman (games 4 and 5) it becomes an alt+z. I don't have any key remapping and all default wow key bindings are unbound. I am using Macaroon, Bartender, and Jamba as addons and that's it. I am using the Razer Naga for mouse and the G15 for keyboard.

Do you have the Razer Naga addon installed?

With the macro mapping/key mapping combos with the Naga + G15 + addons + Pwnboxer, it would be my guess that you have SOMETHING SOMEWHERE conflicting on occasion.

Well, if no one else is having this issue, then it must be from all the various addons/hardware

Thanks

I was trying a lot of things last night and never had any issues, but, this brings up a good point.

If you have software changing keys that came with a mouse, then another for keyboard, then another for multiboxing, and maybe another type of software in windows, I really can't say how that would work.

If you press 1, what componants would first transform that, and which would the last one be? It all starts turning really complicated.

I do know that Pwnboxer + G15 keyboard works, and I also know that I've never heard anybody else with this sort of problem you are mentioning. Maybe try to remove some of the other software you have and see if you can track it down to what is causing the issue?
