Key not Broadcasting -help

I just downloaded and installed pwnboxer and it seems to work fine in opening up the accounts (I'm using three).

I watched the set up video and set up the /focus macros and moved the macros into the same slots on the alts (/focus, /focus follow, /focus assist.) But when I have the main window keyed and am attacking the other mindless alts just sit there. I'm using a usb keyboard and have tried two of them thinking it might be the keyboard. Do I need to add a key broadcasting software also?

Here's the set up main 1-attack 2- heroic strike 3- empty 4- empty
alt 1 /assist focus 2- firebolt 3- empty 4-/follow focus 5 /focus
alt 1 /assist focus 2- shadow bolt 3-empty 4/follow focus 5 /focus

Any ideas would be helpful.

Could you post a screen shot or other of your macro's?

I'm really just using those macros (focus, follow, assist) right now to get the hang of the program. I'm familiar with macros with my mains but this is my first attempt at multi-boxing. Really the issue doesn't seem to be the macro's it's the fact that the keys aren't broadcasting to the other windows. I can make the other alts work by directly highlighting their windows and keying but that kinda defeats the purpose of the program.

3 things to check:

#1 Make sure Pwnboxer isn't Paused (it will say Paused in the top bar, try it to watch it go off/on)

#2 Make sure the key you are broadcasting is in the list to be broadcasted. Eg F5 is there, but 5 is not.

#3 Make sure the broadcasted keys are bound to macros or key bindings inside WoW


I would say about 95% of the people who say it isn't broadcasting keys were actually not building their macros right, or not using the default broadcasted keys or not adding the correct keys. The other 5%, well, I lied, keys broadcast for everyone. I literally do not have a single case where users were not getting keys broadcasted.

Thanks the keys were bound in wow. I'll unbind those and try again.

Also make sure you tell us which keys you're binding them to. Eg. 1,2,3,4 aren't defaulted to broadcasting in Pwnboxer, but you can easily add them in.

Are all of your extra buttons recognized by your computer? I have a Logitech Cordless TrackMan I use here at work, and without the Logitech software installed it wont recognize my extra buttons.

I can bind them in WOW but cant broadcast them all with pwnboxer.

That is odd. If there is no work around I would suggest binding them to spells you use on your main until Tim can tell you why or if a fix is implemented for this functionality in the next release. Does it go up beyond MouseButton 4?
