Default I am going to go ahead and buy the new version.

After spending money on a new OS, CPU and Graphic Card yesterday, I was looking forward to 5 man box on my new toons. After trying for the last 4 hours to figure out what my problem was in trying to get my a computer ID synced up with Pwnboxer's version 2.0, I am going to shell out the $30 and begin leveling. Both ID's were not working, and now I can't figure out -- wrong Serial #, wrong Computer ID, etc. etc.

Something is fishy with the new download version of 2.0
I have to run it as an Administration, and then re-enter the key registration manually. Then as I select the number of games to run, there is no little window telling me how many games are selected. And it appears that the UI is messed up with a lot graphical glitches and half of the program disappeared. I dont know if its on my end, but this was acting way differently than my previous version.

Windows 7 is relatively new software.
I'm sure there will be tweaks etc for it.

If you have access to Vista, you could try a dual boot option.
And down the road, go with Win7 when the kinks are ironed out of the applications you care about.
If you have Win7 Profession or Ultimate, you could try XP Mode and see how Pwnboxer runs.

Cool Re: I am going to go ahead and buy the new version.

I just re-installed Vista Home 32 Bit on one partition, WOW on another, a Data partition, and Win 7 Home Premium 64 on a fourth. I installed pwnboxer on the data and now am installing WOW -- Classic, BC and WOTLK on the WOW disk drive. Pwnboxer seems to be working as of now since the interface looks good. I did run a little test last night with my new Graphics and CPU and boy, not one single lag or drop in Org.

I guess it never pays to be secure by having two serial numbers for pwnboxers. After reading more into Win 7 (home 64 bit) OS and pwnboxer after I bought the second Serial #, I realized that Pro and Ultimate (running XP Mode) seems to work fine. Home doesnt have XP mode in either 32/64 bit. Man I wish I knew that before buying Win 7 Home. I now am counting the days to fully use my new setup when I buy or get a copy of Win 7 Pro 64 bit. Vista 32 Bit Home version does ok with Pwnboxer, but its the capability of Win 7 64 bit, my computer setup and pwnboxer that I cant wait for!
