How to sort Wrong Registration key

Okay i have seen alot of people having the same issue when you get this message



Click ok Then you will get this



you will be able to see your reg key but for obvious reasons i have deleted mine
copy the key
Now press Rebind your licence to new/changed pc

and you will now have this window



your computer ID will be shown so all you have to do is Paste you reg key and enter your last name as it appears on your e-mail that was sent to you when registering pwnboxer.

if you dont have that e-mail it would usually be capital letter for the first letter and then lowercase for the rest

Then hit submit querey and you now will see this again



Last step just click register and you should see this

Just go ahead and purchase it and you will get an email automatically with all the information in the email.

Hi I bought the software last year and i have the serial number and the email that states I get free upgrades and my serial number doesn't work with the new software. Is there any way of getting working serial number without paying again?
I was promised free upgrade with my last purchase with no limitations.

Having an issue when I plug my Evo phone into its USB charger. When I do that the PC registers a new configuration and it invalidates my registration key. I had to burn a second key to use when the phone is disconnected and use my original when it is connected. Stopping to search my email for which ever key is required has officially become a pain now. :P

Hm sounds like a very interesting issue.
The problem lies in the fact that it goes against the way PB works to work around this. I think you are going to have to save your info somewhere more.. easily reachable then the email. But maybe tim can shed some light on this, i haven't really done more then look at how he did it, all his code

Long story short, Pwnboxer uses some internal Windows ID's to give itself that unique ComputerID number. If you change your hardware in windows, that internal ID changes, and that makes the Pwnboxer code change. You can reset your ComputerID by using the Rebind (in Pwnboxer), but if you swap between things that change hardware to Windows, then that would have to be changed everytime. Adding a new hard disk to windows changes that ID, and I think that your phone would show up to windows as a new disk (via the memory).

I have an EVO phone myself by the way, love it. I know that if you connect your phone, and have the default be "Charge, not connect" which turns off the disk function, that it won't change the ID. That is exactly what I do myself (I have the Spring 4g HTC EVO).
