Hello there, Easy question: Nope, you don't need another copy of WoW if you have 2 accounts. You can just go into your WoW directory, find wow.exe, and then run it 2 times and log into each account on each WoW ![]() If you are using pwnboxer.com software, just find the wow.exe, set it up for 2 games in Pwnboxer, and go from there!

| You only need one physical copy of the game, on your computer. But you will need one active account, per character you wish to play at the same time. With the advent of virtualized configuration files, there's no advantage/gain from having multiple copies. You can have higher settings on some, and lower settings on other characters. If you solo, you can have ultra settings on that account, etc. All from the single install on the computer.

Well there are some advantages of having multiple copies, such as performance reasons on WoW being on different drives, to having better organization of addons and interfaces. It just isn't required. I personally have 1 WoW for my main game, and 1 WoW shared for my other 4 games. This allows me to have different addons and the option for performance differences of having the main on a diff HD than the alt WoW.

Thank you all for the quick replys. I have tried this with the pwnboxer software and it all loads up fine and dandy but then scrteen 2 constantly freezes. I think this is due the age and RAM on my pc rather than sofware, so it is now time to reinvest on a better machine. thanks again for the answers, very helpful

Check your addons, those can cause games to freeze. For example, Recount is known to do this often, if you have it, remove it.
