Help.. I cant get pwnboxer to work

Hey all i just bought pwnboxer but i am having problems getting it to work. The program loads and everything but it won't launch my games and it doesnt really seem to do anything except load up. I have Windows7 pro and i am having trouble getting any external programs to work on Warhammer. I have another macro program that runs outside the game but it doesnt work in game. I have had the game and the macro program work together when i had xp pro prior to the upgrade. any ideas?

Run both programs as administrator, which puts them on an equal level for permissions.

Not really sure beyond that.
I'm not a PB user, nor am I playing Warhammer.

But if you can post specifics, as much as possible, that will help others to assist you.

Also, make sure the ready box in the upper right corner is a series of check marks. This indicates the program has information in all the required fields. Be sure all that in formation is correct as well. Program paths need to be full and complete paths. If youre using the "Attach to Process" method, be sure to launch the games manually before starting it in pwnboxer.

ok i will try them both as admin but the path and check mark thing is a little confusing to me. I dont know what WoW has in order to get new updates but War has a patcher that must start before the main .exe starts. I saw this in another post but i never read that it was resolved or in what way it was worked around.

I'm also not sure what kind of specifics u guys want about what i am doing that may help diagnose the problem..

Keep in mind that a macro program outside the game more than likely is breaking the game rules and will get you banned.

For War, you need to attach to the final game process it uses. Do this by doing the advanced game option in Pwnboxer.

Ok so i got Pwnboxer to do a little more now. Running war and pwnboxer as admin it will resize the windows but i am haveing problems with what the average resolution everyone sets it at. i am running 2 programs and when i resize the windows the resolution makes reading text impossible and nothing is very clear. I also am having problems with mouse placement on the screen in-game. This seems to be directly tied to the resolution size in-game. My mouse seems to be off by a couple inches when clicking on things. Lastly i am not sure but my keystrokes are not linked to both games. i have to click on a screen to get that toon to cast a simple hotkey spell. THey are not doing it at the same time.


Yea the macro program was just to test to see if this one would work was the only reason i tried it again. I havent used it in awhile for that specific reason. Once i ran the programs as admin everything will have some interaction now. Tim i also did set the program to attatch itself to the war.exe files. Do i have to put a path like in the other window prior to this one or just the program running in the processes?

It may be possible that WAR needs to be the focus window to accept input. In which case, tweaks to pwnboxer would need to be done by Tim.

Its been awhile since I tried it, but this is how I managed to get things working for Warhammer. I gave up in the end, because the follow system in WAR is horrible and my guys constantly where getting stuck.

Here is what settings I used to broadcast in Warhammer.









Once your set up there. Start Warpatch.exe. You will want to log in with account 1. Let the patcher run,hit play, give it a chance to start. Now on Pwnboxer Window 1 right click and select "Start this game".

Run Warpatch.exe again. Log in with account 2. Let the patcher run,hit play, give it a chance to start. Now on Pwnboxer Window 2 right click and select "Start this game".

Log in with your characters and go to Keybindings. Character one setup should look similiar to this.



Character 2 setup should look similar to this.



Key bindings don't have to be exactly like that. Pics here are just for reference to show they have differ from 1 account to the other, for them to work in Warhammer.

Now if you set your Mouse Broadcasting Activation to ] press that key. You should now be able to broadcast keys in Warhammer.

Few handy macros to start you off.

Follow macro, two press macro. For some reason /follow wont work by itself. My guess another War bug. This macro will tend to follow another friendly also if not targeted correctly.

/target (character name)
/follow (character name)

Assist macro will assist for offensive spells

/assist (character name)

Aid Macro will assist for defensive spells. If you need to heal mains friendly target this macro must be used.

/aid (character name)

Graphical Hint.

For some reason or another, Warhammer graphics will mess up when pwnboxer takes control of the windows. The mouse cursor will be off on selection. Not a pwnboxer bug, but a Warhammer one. The same thing happens when u select two different resolutions for windowed or full screen in User settings. To keep it close I have done this.

Pick a Windowed resolution in Warhammer settings.



Right click on the pwnboxer windows and select "setup coordinates".



I just played around with mine till my cursor selection started acting somewhat normally. The setting in the pics are as close as i could get.

Dang... thanks a ton. i will get to work and see what i can do with that.


On a side note, if my computer is not up to snuff and i need to use two computers.... does pwnboxer have any benefit there or do i need a KVM multiplexor?

PwnBoxer doesnt have multi-pc support.
