Help.. I cant get pwnboxer to work

Ok i am a little farther along in the process. My problem is getting keystrokes to apply to both games. I set it all up the same way the pictures earlier in the postings showed but i am not getting any transfer over from one windowed game to the other. Pwnboxer took control and i have it snapped to enlarge on both monitors but i can only get mouse or keystrokes to only work in the window i click in.. not both at the same time.

Each window should have its own Mouse Cursor. Are you getting that?

Its sporadic if it works or doesnt work to be honest. Last night i had it working on and off.

Ok i think i figured it out. With everything setup the way u showed in the pics i got it as far as pwnboxer controling the 2 games to the right screens but i couldnt get any keyborad or mouse duplication in the games. THe keyboard and mouse only worked on the game window that was last clicked on. So if i have key broadcasting checked and mouse broadcasting checked it should send keystroles to both games but it doesnt. FOr some reason the only way to get it to start working right is to leave keybroadcasting checked and then toglle mouse broadcasting on and off in the check box. For some reason that makes ownboxer start working right and now it will broadcast keyboard and mouse if i leave it checked after cycling it once. THe games have to be running though.


And when i brought this window up to type this response ownboxer stopped sending keyboard and mouse commands. So it looks like if i do the toggle and pwnboxer is the last thing on the screen it will be fine.

Okay so I've heard people mention that Warhammer has some built-in code that requires the game to be "foregrounded" in order to work.

I think we can fix that in another Pwnboxer update. Let me see if I can't do something about it right now.

Could you confirm for me that the final EXE file name you attach to is war.exe please?

well i guess not.. lol. cant seem to get it to upload. ANyway its called WAR.exe *32

I guess its 32 because i am running on a windows7 64bit platform.

I was boxing Warhammer some yesterday. I finally had to give up. Seems these last two patches increased system resource use, to much for mine to handle with decent response. It's kinda silly, I get 50+fps running single. Went to Dual it dropped under 10fps. Sad really, two Squig Herders seemed like a good dual team.

I failed to mention also those settings are with Vista, which could be why your not getting the same results JabbrWocky.

yea i agree Zaph on the difficulty factor of boxing WAR. My system isnt the greatest but its fair and its a struggle.

With this setup i can multibox 3 accounts but with a 1 second delay on my two accounts that follow me. The nice thing is that with the new trial accounts you dont have to put a credit card down in order to get the game and the account. Just create an account and download. The main problems i am having are both the game and pwnboxer software.

First Pwnboxer is making me have to click on the "enable mouse broadcasting" box to get it to start running. I have to do that everytime i click on one of the toon screens or click out of the game on my desktop. Other then that i think the rest i just dont know enough about the software yet to get it to do what i want.

Warhammer itself is posing a major problem with the follow system. I dont know about WoW but /follow breaks when u attack, defend, get too far away, pretty much when u sneeze. The other main problem with follow is that the toons follow from about 10 feet behind the main. So being that far back makes them get stuck and also they might be out of range to cast so the main one gets hammered.

All in all, the follow system, i would say is the biggest problem with multiboxing right now. I also think becuase this game is such a resource hog multiboxing this game with any real efficiency will have to be done on a multicomputer system with KVM hardware or something like that. This game has 6 man groups and there is no system that i know of that could handle 6 Warhammers at the same time. I will keep farting around with my lowbies for now.

Yea this drove me crazy also, I ended up binding a couple of other keys to move my second account up when I needed to.

Yea, it broadcasts all the keys no matter what you select for key broadcasting. The work around for this is unbind keys you don't want broadcasted on the slave accounts.

One thing that may help with targeting is a addon called Calling

Other than that I dont have any good suggestions for Boxing WAR. Its to bad, I am playing this exclusively, the PvP is a blast and boxing this would be a treat if it ran in a feasible manner.

I may be upgrading to a new machine soon and give it another try. My current Machine is just a Dual Core, Vista 32bit maxed memory with a 8800 GT Vid.
