FTL pwnboxer issues please help.

so i go to the key remaping and i put this in.

If "Game 1" selected, transform "1" into "Alt + Shift + Home" on "Game 2".

I click save and it tells me "This Remap is already in the list"...

i took the zip file of pwnboxer and put it in a diff folder and unziped it to that folder and then run the "new" pwnboxer and it gives me the same error.

It should work, could you show me a screenshot of the error + the key mapping window in PB please?

Yup that is because it already is in the list, there is no need to save another version of the same thing.

So, the very first time i set up FTL/keymaping it was broadcasting my key without a problem. but after i did a few things, I don't remember what they were bc it was a ton of things while trying to learn pwnboxer, now it won't broadcast them. I have the same setup as above but I added in this code to help me test the issue im having.

If "Game 1" selected, transform "2" into "A" on "Game 2".

so i go to game 2 and press "Enter" so i get a chat bar and then i go back to game 1 using "Fast game switch". The enter bar is still up on game 2. So i click on my screen on game 1 to make sure it is selected and I push the 2 button and no A shows up in game 2 in the chat bar.

my regular broadcasting works fine and i made sure that my "1" and "2" key are not in that.

I now have all my addons are disabled to make sure they aren't causing the problem.

Pwnboxer issue Key Remapping NOT working. (not really an issue, but we all think it is when it is happening to us)

OK!!!! this might be spamming the forums but i see this issue all over and I found out what is causing it. I'm keeping this simple..I have spent hours trouble shooting this. I have unistalled and reinstalled and used older versions and cleaned out cookies and used CCleaner and many other things.

if you want to have "1" remapped like
If "Game 1" selected, transform "1" into "A" on "Game 2".

you NEED to have "1" in the "broadcast only these keys" section as well and have it check-marked.

after I did this everything worked.

I know this works bc i used it with several other Key Remappings that I have set up and they now work when I follow this example.

Hey there,

Yup if you want the key to be broadcasted you still need to add it to your list of what is allowed. This was done intentionally, this way you could hotkey between what is allowed and what isn't with a quick single switch of a button.

Glad you figured out that it needs to still be in the key broadcasting list
