Well, I wasn't thinking about the multi-target situation, I was referring to things that I would only do semi-frequently on one toon. For example:
  • Summon a table as a mage
  • Summon a soulwell as a warlock
  • Create and apply a soul-stone as a warlock
  • Summon a pet as a warlock or a hunter
  • Drop a trap as a hunter

I CAN create a key binding for each action, and a key mapping to a different key binding for each game; it's not a question of it not being possible.

It would be much easier to skip the first step, though, especially as all it does is suck up additional key binding needlessly. You also have to be careful you're not using a sequence that could be interpreted as valid in the main game, or you have to explicitly block that key sequence there. Try mapping Alt+H to Up in a different game for a simple example of why this is a problem. Given enough possible targets and you could even start running short of key sequences in the main game. In addition, if you have any reason to swap main games, you now have to create key mappings for every source game.

The clickable sections play by exactly the same rules as key remapping does - one click, one action. I just don't see why there should be any unnecessary steps in the process.

tl;dr - my suggestions are all about making easy things easy. As it stands, there are a number of things that are a lot harder than they need to be in Pwnboxer. I'd like to see that change.

Iru is this an example of your issue?

Say you have 3 WoWs (mage, lock, hunter)
Ctrl + X in window 1 = Mage Table
Ctrl + X in window 2 = hunter trap
Ctrl + X in window 3 = create soulstone

Do you want to have 3 buttons that are all bound to Ctrl + X, but that target a specific window?

Yea you can do that with the key remapping. Basically, the entire dockable clickmapping key broadcasting all runs through the key remapping rules before performing their actual key broadcasting.

Maybe I need to sleep, but it seems to make sense to me?

Edit: Then again, I personally don't use the key remapping, so I can't 100% confirm, I just know I added the operational order to make the dockable clickmapping buttons follow key remapping rules. I never really tested it in detail as I do with everything else I create in PB since I personally don't use it myself.

I guess the point Tim is he doesn't WANT to use keyremapping.

1) He doesn't want all of those things to happen at the same time (so you couldn't say bind CTRL+X to something different for each window in my example above)

2) He doesn't want to waste potential key stroke combination for the sake of keyremapping.

He isn't arguing that is isn't possible, he is just saying he doesn't like this implementation and it would be much simpler if he could say "Buttion A-> Game 1", "Button 3-> Game 5".

Yes the motd asking if I want to make money is exactly what I meant by ad. There is no option to disable the motd. I paid for the product, I don't want to see this everytime I start it. That should be my decision.

Next, the profile doesn't load. I have to manually choose "shammies.pbcfg or pallies.pbcfg" etc etc. I'll just post a diff thread about that maybe someone can help me out.

I'm not trying to sound condescending here... I love the product and Tim you are great at quick responses and we all can tell you really care about making us all happy and the product itself does a GREAT job at that already, you are icing on the cake. Keep up the good work. I just don't want to see the MOTD every time I launch, what's in the MOTD right now is something I would expect to see in a freeware product or an untrusted source. I personally didn't mind the MOTD until it kinda crossed the line by not being a "product improvement" message but instead a solicitation. Sorry. I Love the product, but don't agree with the current message I'm being forced to look at each time.

Lastly I support you and tell all my WoW buddies about this product and 1 so far has bit and purchased and also loves it. So I don't want you flagging me as some troublemaker. I just had to speak my opinion on how the MoTD makes me feel right now as it stands. Thanks.
