Deadlock when launching multiple WoWs (Patch 4.0.1 "feature")

Didn't notice this mentioned, but 4.0.1 added this "fun" feature.

it's a known bug. it will be corrected.

honestly this is pure win for multiboxers. It once again clearly declares that multiboxing is completely allowed and recognized, that unfortunately a bug has been found annoying boxers, but that Blizz is aware of it and already flagged it for fixing.

I haven't even really seen a problem with PB bringing up 5 clients at once but just to be safe I load them one at a time for now.

It's neat that someone at Blizzard noticed a bug, which affects boxers, and took the time to post that it is on the list of things they are fixing.

We're a rather small and insignificant percentage of the total player base, but they're essentially acknowledging that boxers play the game too, and a bug might be affecting us.

How do I load individually and still have pwnboxer link the keys?

Hey there,

I am still updating my WoW with the patch, however, if WoW requires you to launch each game one at a time, you can do this in PWnboxer. Just don't hit "START ALL GAMES" Instead right click on each game in PB, then click to Start the game, log in, then click the second game, Start it, log in, etc.

Tim, I read on a blue post that Blizz will be working to fix this problem for those who multi-box with a patch soon to fix this bug and others.

I have one little interesting glitch or problem. I do start all 5 games individually, but on my screen every time I open my bag on my main toon, the fps drops and mouse movement appears to be lagging, but my other toons dont have this problem. My main is on one monitor and my alts are on a second separate monitor.

Anyone notice this? I have all 5 games set on the same video and other settings.

Update: Now when I individually start each game, my other toons will jump when my main one jumps, and they will not assist and engage in battle when i hit the button to fight -- they are hunters and so no arrows or attack in engaged. Its as if they are in in sync but not at the same time by starting each one individually.

Hey guys, I just tested with Pwnboxer, and everything looks fine. I noticed WoW had another patch tho.

So basically I just hit START ALL GAMES and all 5 windows start up and I can log in just fine.

Interesting glitch. It runs fine with all 5 starting at once or individually starting, but soon as a i open my bags, the others toons dont respond to key broadcast.
