Everything was working fine last night before i logged off around midnight pacific time, but now I can only open wow the conventional way, which i haven't done in a very long time! lol If anyone knows what to do, i'm open to ideas. |

If it was working yesterday, but not today... Have you changed anything on your system? Check system restore, see if anything can be undone. You could delete and re-download the program. Not sure if there are configuration files, but if there are.. you might want to back them up.

well just launched all my games with the Open all Games button, and seems to be stable. Nothing's been changed on my computer, and the fact its running fine when I load all games at once as opposed to open one specific game, it may be a minor glitch, as I have not used that feature in a while. If someone else tries this and doesn't encounter it, then it may be something with my computer, however as long as I can open all games I'm as happy as a pig in poop, or a cop in a doughnut shop, or.... well you get what i mean! LOL

Thought I post this new security feature from Blizz, phone security. You register your phone number and pin. Now anytime your accounts are accessed from a different location, you'll have to call in with that number and enter your pin.

There was a write up on that earlier, I believe. Or possibly on the other site, but I think it was on both. You'd want all of your accounts on the same battle.net, since you can only tie one battle.net account to one protection device. It was only available in the US initially, although Canada can call any US Toll-Free number, so they have access too. Suspicious activity would require you to verify your account. You would do this, basically via a phone call. Typical suspicious activity would include trying to log in from any location other than home, or one which you had previously called in from verifying it was ok. Neat idea, because there is no need for the keyfob or phone ap to generate a code for each instance of the game (or all at once). Just log in and go, and you're protected. They did post, it would not count as authenticator protected, for the purpose of guild bank access.

Has somebody reviewed the terms for registering your phone? Does Blizzard sell your information for marketing purposes, including letting random companies send you TEXT and SMS (w/pictures) advertisements? As long as you don't give up anything, I like this idea. I've always said to have 1 battle.net per WoW account and just use 1 authenticator. That works for me. Also to note: Authenticator codes last 10 minutes each I believe, so you could potentially just write down 5 codes and then launch your WoWs and do them all at once with those codes.

The codes are good for 11 minutes, but have expired by 12 minutes. With a new code generated every 30 seconds. The only catch, you have to use them in the correct order. Not really a big deal. Now that authenticators can only be attached to a single battle.net (existing authenticators, like mine, can be on any number of accounts) the argument of one battle.net per warcraft account, so you can log into several accounts with one code, well that's not possible going forward. Assuming your information is kept confidential... Having all of your accounts on a single Battle.Net, allows you to protect them all with a single phone based authenticator. The big win for me, would be not having to use any form of code to log in. But having them all protected, should anyone try to log in and not be at my IP address.

My system seems to be doing the same thing. Was setting up addons on a 2 box setup. The windows both took a lockup and close out 1 time each. But reopened fine. I went to bed, came on tonight. Now I'm getting 1 acct to open but not the 2nd. Is there anyway to use Pwnboxer with a manual opening of both accounts? Since they seem to open fine without the program.

Yea you can just right click on the game window and start it in Pwnboxer. Every time I looked into this it was always an addon issue, so I suggest you check that out. Especially recount, remove that if you have it.
