DAOC Need Support [PWNBoxer]

Hello i just recently bought Pwnboxer for Dark Age of Camelot, i would really enjoy using this software but i run into a problem when i hit start all games. Nothing happens. i have entered the game paths but it doesn't seem to want to load up. Could anyone help me out here? maybe i am doing something wrong.

-The only DAOC posts i could find, 1 person tried to help or test it out but never responded back.

Anybody ever think about boxing other non-WoW games?

Yea if you could get the info of that that would be awesome but for now if a representative from pwnboxer could give me some intel or tim even that would be nice. I just hope i didn't waste my money ;[

before pwnboxer and wow I boxed daoc. As you might already know their server only allows two instances of the game running at once on your version of windows. The way I had to get around this was to install additional window versions on vertial hardrives. I actually had vista on main system. xp and windows7 all on one cpu and all running. It minimizes them just like any other program. One thing daoc has on wow is you can mash buttons ahead of time. vmwareworkstation is the name of the program that I used to do this. you set how much hardrive space and ram for each. I recommend 2-4 gig for each version of windows.
As far as no games starting up at least the first two should start.
Are you running vista. I could not start daoc and many other programs unless i had it run as administrator.

Hey thanks for the reply, umm no i am using windows 7 I'm only trying to box 2 atm so that's what the problem is, it just isn't launching the games < the 2 that i'm trying to run> perhaps if someone else could try launching DAOC on PWNBoxer and see if this could be fixed or if it is just me. Maybe Pwnboxer doesn't support windows 7?

Has anyone tried launching pwnboxer with DAOC recentely that maybe can provide some assistance?

Ok i just tried in Administrator mode in Windows 7 and i got the following error from the Mythic Patcher

--->The patch client was unable to update the file [C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\Dark Age of Camelot\camelot.bin]. Please ensure the game is not already running and there is free space available on the disk.

i have more than enough disk space and the game was not running.

Hey there, okay couple of questions:

Can you run the DAOC client directly (as in, no launcher needed)?

If so, what happens if you run it yourself manually 2 times, do 2 windows show up?

What is the name of the DAOC direct run client? If it doesn't have a direct run client, what is the name of the launcher? Also, once you pass the launcher, what is the name of the program that the launcher launches (see task manager)?

hey thanks for the reply Tim, ok to start off your first question,
1-i don't know of any way to start the game without the launcher and i doubt there is a way.

2- when i run 2 clients manually 2 separate windows open up and a message shows asking are you sure you want to run 2 clients although that info might be irrelevant

3- Not sure if there is a direct launcher... the launcher application is called Mythic Patcher

4-the launcher launches an application called Dark age of Camelot, the Dark Age of Camelot Servers, after you write your info in dark age of Camelot you can go to the dark age of Camelot servers screen and then choose a server and enter the game.[ these are not full windows they are small windows like notebook size applications, dunno if that makes any difference ]

Start the game with the launcher and then go into the game.

Minimize it and look in your windows task manager.

What is the exe for DAOC that shows up in the list?

it's strange in the processes menu it only shows up as game.dll*32 and doesn't indicate in the description that it is dark age of camelot but it is

and in processes the patcher is called camelot.bin*32, then at the login(where you type your info, not in game yet) its called the login.dll*32
