Save config, I saved one as Ninja.pbcfg Go into key remapping and make a few keymap switches in my case mine were 1 Num0 > S on 1 1 Num0 > E on 2 1 Num0 > W on 3 1 Num0 > Q on 4 1 Num0 > S on 5 1 Decimal > W on 1 1 Decimal > Q on 2 1 Decimal > S on 3 1 Decimal > E on 4 1 Decimal > W on 5 Ok, Ok, go back and Save the config again, same name... will say it exists would you like to overwrite... yes go back to key remapping, if they haven't doubled yet ok, ok resave again go check you should have a cloned copy of your keymaps each time you go and save and go back and check you will have another cloned set... ***On a side question pertaining to keymaps, I noticed that when I remap a movement key switching if on 1 switch Num0 > S for example... it doesn't send S. I assume this is because I am already pressing Num0. So whats the solution to this? In this case bind move backward to Num0? In that case there is no sense switching the key because Im already pressing the key I ultimately want sent, if there is a way to have the key remap take priority over the key you are pressing in game that would be awesome*** Not sure if it was intentional or what but when I upgraded to the new version copying my pbcfg over all my settings and keys worked, but all my key remappings were gone. Bug or the files not compatible? Last edited by HaoleBoi; 02-04-2010 at 07:22 AM.

File compatibility issue between 02.01.121305 and 02.01.011301. I reported this awhile ago. You can cut&paste the relevant parts of the old .pbcfg into the new one - if you have a copy of the old file - the change is in the tructure, not the individual definitions.

Hey guys I think I'm missing something completely here, you say that they get loaded twice? As in, you file->load ninja.pbcfg and if you had 2 prior entries in the key remapping, that suddenly you have 4 entries, and if you save/load, you will have 8, etc?

I just read the last line of your post, and I believe there was some comparability issues that were updated. Could you try just blowing your PB config away and starting with a fresh one on the latest Pwnboxer, and then save/exit/restart/load and see if that works perfect?

| strange, I can't always get it to duplicate the behaviour. But I will say I only see this behaviour done with the saving not the loading. It's like it ammends the save to either the top or the bottom of the previous key remappings. When it happens if you have 10 keys remapped when you go back and check you will have 20, an exact set mirroring the original in the same order. Oddly enough I made a new key switch and moved it all the way to the bottom of my list and it hasn't done it since. At least on that pbcfg If there is a problem between formats I don't think its the key remap in general, only because I started with my old pbcfg but it had erased all my remaps, so I just retyped them in starting with a empty box. And each time I saved I noticed there were clones, which normally isn't possible it will say "this key mapping is already in the list", these are getting added in the save only.

Try instead not starting with your old Pwnboxer config. Instead, go into your pwnboxer directory, delete the pwnboxer.pbcfg file, then start up Pwnboxer and re-add the keymapping and save it as a new file. Then close/restart Pwnboxer, it should function correctly, and this way you are not using an older configuration file.
