| Up[ and running with 5 accounts, they all login and basic keymaps are fine, e.g. press jump and all the chars jump etc. Now onto the good stuff, I need a step by step guide with copy and paste macro's preferably, that will make the slaves follow and assist. I want this to be irrespective of the client im using. So if toon1 is dead i hotswitch to toon5 he is the new leader and all the slaves know it. I read FTL does this but cannot find anywhere a guide to make pwnboxer do it. Tim you have a web page showing it somewhere as there aint any instructions at all shipped with the software? thanks dozydoris Last edited by dozydoris; 10-04-2010 at 07:30 AM. |

| To make the slaves follow your main, first put this in a macro on each and every one of your slaves (assume my main is named Tanky): /focus Tanky Then, a macro like this: /follow focus That will make them focus on (ie remember) your main, and follow him wherever he goes. Now, make them attack whatever your main is attacking, use (assume the slave is a shaman): /assist focus /cast Lightning Bolt This is the basics. To bind a key to a macro, drag the macro from the picture in the macro frame down to one of the action bars, and bind a key to it in the keybindings frame.

| thanks for the advice but that's a fail macro as soon as 'tanky' is dead the whole team is leaderless. Need one that will work the same from any slave. |

| If you want to go with a Focus based approach, then you'll have one Focus Macro for each toon on your team. So when you switch to the Tank, then everyone including the Tank, will press their macro to make the Tank their Focus. Similarly, when you switch to your healer, then you press the Healer Is My Focus macro, on all toons including the healer, who is then everyone's focus. Whatever toon you switch to, via a macro you make that toon the focus for every other toon. Then your DPS can be: /Cast [@FocusTarget] Lightning Bolt /Castsequence [@FocusTarget] Flame Shock, Lava Burst Change the spells, as appropriate for each class on your team. Follow is simple: /Follow [Target=Focus] Heals can be both assist based and via Dockable Clickmaps/Repeater Region (depending on your software). The Assist based will be: /Assist [Target=Focus] /Cast [Help][Help,Target=TargetTarget][Help,Target=TargetTargetTarget] Name of Heal Spell Whoever you are targeting with your main (probably your Tank), is the initial target. You might have 2-3 healing spell macros, which are keybound on the healer but on no one else. If the tank's target is friendly, then the heal goes to that toon. So you can target the tank, the healer, a DPS on your team, or a friendly player you come across. If the first condition fails (the active character's target is not friendly), then it attempts to heal the target of the hostile thing your active character is targeting. This will be the case in PvE play most of the time. You can also go with buttons (dockable clickmapping, in Pwnboxer) where when you click a button beside a toon's name, that toon is healed. Maybe make 2-3 buttons for each of your characters. The leftmost might be the big heal, middle one might be a medium/fast heal and far right will be a Heal Over Time effect. That way you can force heals onto a specific character, even if the tank is still targeting the mob and the mob is targeting the tank. |
