Battle net merging??

I was going to merge my accounts with my battle net account but got a warning when I was doing so that if family members used my account, I should not do so.

Does anyone know how this affects multiboxing? Does merging multiple accounts to the same battlenet account prevent you from using multiple accounts at one time?

Merging your accounts into B.net accounts has several advantages, as well as disadvantages.

You will be able to log in to all of your accounts with one user name (which will be your B.net account email) and password. When you log in, you will be prompted to select which account you want to log into. If you use multiple directories for each of your WoWs, you can set it to remember which account to choose, and just type in your password and go!

According to Blizzard, only you or a designated minor that you are the legal guardian of is permitted to use an account that is under your name. This rules out even spouses! >.<

If all the accounts are under your name, then there shouldn't be a problem =D

EDIT: Blizzard does seem rather extreme about this, but its their game.

So then, as all the accounts are in my name, use my email, and are played by me or one of my minor children, I can merge them and still use them for multiboxing, right?

I only ask because the authentication issues over the past couple of weeks...

though they don't care if the email addresses are different, its mainly the name under the account. Good Luck ^.^

EDIT: You can multibox with ANY account that is in your name, be it a B.net merged account, regular account, or a mix of the two.

i would REALLY not merge several wow accounts into ONE battle.net account.

the warning about family members using your accounts is this (from what i understood):

you merged 3 accounts with ONE battle.net account.
you login to battle.net account in wow.
you select account1 to play.

now you start your second wow.
loging to battle.net account in that second wow.
and poof account1 has been disconnected.

just like if you were logging in to the same wow accounts on several computers.

so if i understood right then you will only be able to play one of the wow accouns at a time.

but that might just be me missunderstanding things iv read.
personaly i split all my accounts into different battlenet accounts and dont want them on the same :P

It asks which wow account I would like to log in with and I'm able to play on both of them with the same computer.

so you got 2 wow open and logged into one and the same battlenet account on both.
but at same time on 2 different "wow" accounts?

yep.

All of my accounts are merged into a Bnet account (with all my wc3, sc, and d2 keys )
