Default Will this run 5x wow and stream?

Well, I'm coming back to multiboxing! I was doing 3x but my current computer was having problems running my team.. and after a few months, I'm ready for a new computer and start multiboxing again, but 5x!

This is so far what I have in mind:

Intel® Core™ i7-950 3.06 GHz 8M Intel Smart Cache LGA1366
GigaByte GA-X58A-UD3R Intel X58
Kingston HyperX 6GB (2GBx3) DDR3/1600MHz Triple Channel Memory Module
EVGA NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 1GB 16X PCIe Video Card

and my internet connection is att uverse max, ~10Mbps download, ~1.5 upload.

Any suggestion?

Thanks!

i got for 8gb+ 4.0 (new world) eats ram. my quardcore with 6gb finds it hard to load the new fake world on the ptr (with a small change to open the new maps) and if you got money to spare get a SSD (if not raid0) a few HDD and your good to go.

The system he's quoting is tripple channel memory so he has to go 3 x 2gb sticks or 3 x 4gb sticks.

Hmm i just looked at the specs page for that motherboard, it does do dual channel (eg 2 x 4gb) but doesn't perform as well apparently.

Capo - I'd probably shell out for 3 x 4gb if you could afford it, though it'd probably be fine.

Does your motherboard have 6 slots for RAM? If so, go 6x 2GB. Really cheap and 12G = win. If not, 6GB will still work, but with Cataclysm around the corner, you may actually end up needing 12.

In the current game, you want 1GB per client, plus 1GB for the operating system. You also want a 64-Bit operating system, so you can use more then 3.2 GB of system ram. You can play with less then this, certainly, but then RAM is a limiting factor on your system's performance.

Even if Cataclysm has a 50% increase in RAM used... 5 clients = 7.5 GB instead of 5 GB of ram. And then add in your 1GB for the operating system to play with... 8+ GB is probably going to work fine, especially if you limit whatever is running in the background.

I'm not sure on the resources for streaming, but obviously you'd want more then Warcraft will use on its own, without background processes going.

I know quite a few people that make movies, seem to have success using multiple drives. As in, run warcraft on one drive while recording the movie to a different drive. But you said Streaming, and I'm not sure if differing drives is an advantage for that.

hodnee - Are you running the Cata Public Beta?

CAPO - Everything looks good, you might want more RAM for smoother performance since you are wanting to stream so 12GB is what you going to want when Cata comes out.
12GB - (3x4GB) (6x2GB)
I looked on Newegg.com and compared, the best way to go is (3x4GB)
